Albuquerque Green Cab

I sold my car decades ago, thinking if I need to go somewhere I'd go with a driving friend, take Suntran (which has improved greatly), or maybe take a taxi. After all that time, today I finally had reason to use Albuquerque Green Cab. I had a medical appointment and I knew several days ahead that the weather might be too bad to take 2 buses and walk a lot (all to the Center and back), so I called Green Cab ahead of time and made an appointment. Ricardo picked me up right on time and drove smoothly to the Medical Center, proving that he knew it better than I did (since I usually just walked). I told him I didn't know when my appointment would be over (it's a busy place), but he gave me his card and asked me to call, he would come if he was in a good position. This worked out very well, and I got home before the weather became dangerous (I'd still be on a bus if I'd taken that option). I highly recommend Albuquerque Green Cab and Ricardo, and I hope the other employees of that company are as efficient and thoughtful as Ricardo is!

I needed a ride from airport (flight cancelled) and the Green Taxi was immediately available. Driver was accurate on destination and arrived in excellent time, good driving, pleasant experience. Pricing was comparable to ride share without having to wait.

Was in s pinch, no Uber available. When I requested Green Cab, explained to Driver that the Fare would be round trip of no more than 20 miles, and was quoted $2.60/mile...did the Math, and agreed. Route mind you on my GPS, Driver didn't know how to enter it on his own...With my directions no problem getting to destination. Returning to the start point, he decides to take a different route, oookay.... End of Trip. He actually thought he'd receive price on meter, which was no less than $35.- OVER what it should have been. Suspect he had meter running driving to pick me up, and Driver is perhaps Owner as well. Shady putting it mild. Y'all be aware!

Ok, I am LOATH to write bad review, because it's just not my personality... But... here goes. My husband was flying back to Seattle this morning and needed to be at the airport by 7:50 am 6/25. He decided to take a cab, because he's a really nice guy and didn't want to make me change my schedule. So, the night before, at about 8:00 pm he calls ABQ Green Cab Co. They have a great website, and he calls and makes a reservation to get a pick up from the house to the Airport at 7:30 am on 6/26. Conversation at 8:00 pm goes like this:Green Cab: Green Cab CoM: Hello, I need a cab to the airport at 7:30 am tomorrow.Green Cab: We can do that, address?M: My address is ...Green Cab: See you tomorrow.M: Thank YouConversation he has at 7:40 am this morning:Green Cab: HelloM: Is this ABQ Green Cab?Green Cab: YesM: I had made a reservation last night for a ride to the Airport. Are you on your way?Green Cab: What's you Address? M: My address is...Green Cab: We have no record of you. SorryM: OK, any thoughts.Green Cab: Nope.So, at 7:40 am this morning I am shucking into my jeans and flying out the door to get my cutie pie to the Airport.I would actually give minus stars if possible.

At 12:30 a.m. I scheduled a cab to pick me up at my house at 4:30 a.m. At 4:35 I called the cab company as Green Cab had not arrived. The dispatcher told me his driver fell asleep. A few minutes later, the driver called to confirm my address. Dispatch gave him the wrong address. The driver, "Frankie's Taxi," showed up at 4:55 and drove me to the airport. The ride was uncomfortable as he slammed the gas at starts and slammed the brake at stops. When I asked he said he takes credit cards. When we reached the airport at 5:01 fory 5:55 flight he ran my card for the $15.94 fare. When I signed the receipt I asked why the total showed up as $17.04. "Credit card fee."Then he acted troubled and befuddled when I asked for a receipt. "No tip?" He asked. Are you kidding me? I nearly missed my flight. Here's a tip:Don't fall asleep when you have a scheduled fare and disclose your credit card fee in advance. I've had good experience with Green Cab's Rod Flash, but Frankie's Taxi will cause me to never use Green Cab again.

I got a cab at 1:15am at the airport. The driver told me that the base rate from the airport is $15 for up to 4 miles, then it goes up by the mile from there. I was going to ask around among the other companies and the driver told me that the airport rates are the same for all other companies at the airport. After a long day of travel delays I was exhausted and desperately wanted to get home so I paid $15 for a ride that was under a mile. When I called the company the next day to ask their rates I was told $10.Clearly they lie and do what they can to financially exploit travel weary people. I am usually fairly savvy and am rather embarrassed that I fell prey to this greedy company.Save your money and please do not give Green Cab any of it. Go with a company that has transparent rates that don't change when the driver feels that they can get away with wringing more from you in moments of need. If you are using cash make sure they are using some sort of meter that you can see and that they operate while you are getting a ride. Insist on a receipt so that you have documentation of what you paid. I am assuming that my money went directly into that drivers pocket, tax free.I'd give Green Cab negative stars if I could, but this will have to suffice.

Most City Cab Companies run 24/7, especially if they advertise airport service. When called at 3am for a 1.5 mile fare from a hotel to the airport, to catch a redeye flight, Green's phone robo-answered in fast speaking Spanish. No human ever answered. DO NOT USE THEM.

I requested a ride for my husband at Presbyterian Hospital to be picked up and take home, the were very accommodating and he was home in about 10-15 minutes. I will use there service again if we need a cab ride.

Dishonest and a ripoff. When I arrived at the Albuquerque train station a Green Cab with Rigo the driver was there so my husband and I got in to go to our hotel. He took us on a long ride even getting on the expressway and we ended up being charged $23 dollars. When we took a different cab from our hotel back to the train station it was only $10 and was a short drive a few streets from the station.

I had a dental appointment this morning and I had scheduled Uber but they cancelled right when the driver was to pick me up. I immediately contacted this company for taxi service and Galdino was able to pick me up immediately. I made it to my appointment and he even came back to get me when I was done. I really appreciated the excellent customer service and will call this company if I ever need another ride! Thank You Galdino for all your help this morning, Take Care and God Bless You!!!
