I should have read these reviews before calling them up for an estimate. Thank goodness, I didn't hand over any money. Gabe did show up and told me that he would text me an address to see some of their work. He did not. I waited a few weeks later to call and was told that his cell was broken. So? If your cellphone is broken, what prevents you from calling me from another phone? What prevented you, Gabe from following up on what you said you would do? Maybe those good reviews were paid for? Honestly, I don't think they give a hoot so I'm leaving this review here and in other places as well to save honest folks the trouble of even thinking that this is a standup company.

I have been waiting on a quote since 3-10-2023. I sent my documentation, drawings to Gloria and Gabe. I called 8 times to try to get someone to get me a quote. Final calls 4-10-2023 was told George was the owner by Yvonne and he would call me. No call back. Called again on 4-11-2023 Gloria said she would find out from Gabe why I have not received a quote. No call back. Final call 4-13-2023 spoke to Gloria again and to be honest she sounded unconcerned. I asked her to just find out if I was going to get a quote and if not I would let our HOA know they did not want to provide a quote. Me having to chase a quote, not acceptable. Do not use this company.

We had a great experience dealing with ABQ Fence for a wood fence installation on our residential property. The site foreman showed up as scheduled, walked our property with us and took plenty of notes and communicated with us very well. The price quote they provided us was lower than several of their competitors. After agreeing to select them and placing our down payment, our fence installation started in about 30 days. Two installers showed up every day during the install and it took them less than 4 business days to fence in our property (1/2 acre perimeter). They installed concrete footings and Postmaster posts along our property and 4" wide cedar pickets. The installers were punctual, proficient and very friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend ABQ Fence for your fencing needs and will choose them again for our needs in the future.

A decorative post & rail fence can seriously enhance the look and value of any property, right? But what happens when the company installing the fence fails to hold up their end of the paid agreement by not incorporating all the promised aesthetics and functionality? At this point, dealing with an otherwise attractive fence becomes a consistent exercise in frustration.Here is a list of Albuquerque Fence failures in this case: (photos available)* The metal gates and latches completely rusted out after one change of season--no paint or covering was discussed or offered to help protect the gates* The gate latches do not line up with the drilled pole holes and each gate must be manually lifted or pushed down in order to attempt lining up latch with hole to lock the gate* The latch on one of the gates falls more than an inch short of the hole, therefore locking that gate is impossible* There are unappealing empty holes (for horizontal poles) on one of the gate vertical posts that do not require rails* Despite specific instructions, all 3 gates initially opened the wrong direction and the latches were all installed on the wrong side and had be reversed after the fact--this made all three gates look second-hand and unattractive following the change (Multiple holes were drilled for the latches as they did not line up after gate direction reversal)* Since a person should be able to pass through a gate from either direction, gate latches should be accessible from both sides of the fence--unfortunately, these three gates only have a latch on the outside, making exit from inside the fence impossible* A decorative, slatted wood fence from another property was removed and saved for a secondary use adjacent to this post & rail fence, but the company was never heard from again, despite multiple contact attempts (see next bullet point)* The genuine request for an additional fence/extension was preliminarily quoted, but never installed--despite multiple requests for scheduling near the end of the season in autumn 2018While certain employees of Albuquerque Fence can be pleasant to work with, the company's overall communication skills need vast improvement. They lack the necessary sense of urgency as well as any semblance of timely responses. Worst of all, they failed to properly complete their prepaid job, despite our repeated follow-up contact. Without a comprehensive overhaul of our three faulty and nonfunctional gates, we would not be able to recommend Albuquerque Fence.

This company provides terrible customer service. My sales woman, Yvonne, was nice in the beginning but she messed up my quote and made it for less, then said it would cost $500 more after she forgot to add another part of the job.No one ever gave me a start date and then one day two men showed up and I had to leave work to meet them after my wife called me.They kept installing dented metal panels and then I would have to call Yvonne to complain and ask that they reorder more panels without dents. Eventually, Yvonne stopped responding and I was forced to work with the owner, George Otero. He complained to me that Yvonne wasn't doing her job of reordering panels when they would come in dented. Eventually he stopped responding to my calls and texts and I had to work with the accountant of Albuquerque Fence. The accountant was finally able to correct all the problems and resolve my fence job after 5 months.Recently, I called for warranty issues because one panel is rusting after less than a year. When I finally spoke to Yvonne and George Otero on the phone they said there's nothing they can do and George Otero called me a little girl for complaining.I am having Valley Fence Company replace the rusted panel for me and I am having them do $7000 more worth of fence work for me.Do yourself a favor and go with Valley Fence Company for your fencing needs. Their prices are the same and they have a high quality management team!

They did everything to be finished with that big wood fence before I got visitors from Europe. Very happy

I have called multiple times and spoke with 2 different people and same results both times. No call back. I sent pictures upon their request and still nothing. Been waiting for at least a month for a call back or a least say we are to busy right now.

The only good thing I can say about this company is that due to widespread incompetence of the employees, no one ever bothered to run my credit card or schedule the work so I did not have to dispute any charges when I finally got fed up with them. No one at this company wants to do their job. They will be annoyed by having to provide you an estimate, they will not follow through with any promises, and when you complain no one will respond. This company is terrible. Go somewhere else.

Worst company ever. I hired them to replace a residential fence in April, they didn't finish until December 13. The quality of work is mediocre at best. They are unresponsive and unreliable. I would NEVER hire them again and would not recommend them to anyone.
