Albuquerque Custom Shower Doors

Rub-a-Dub dub, get rid of that old tub! After 11 years we finally got around to tearing out the tub in our master bathroom that never got used but somehow always needed to be cleaned! (Shower was installed by private contractor) We were so impressed with the showroom at Albuquerque Custom Shower doors! From the measurement to the order to the installation, everyone that assisted us was very helpful and friendly. We are thrilled with the result. Be patient with the installation timeframe. We were quoted 2-3 weeks when the measurement was made at the end of February but the doors didn't come in and get installed until April, closer to 6 weeks. The world is still a little cray-cray right now and we can all benefit from a little kindness and patience.

I researched many shower companies. This one is the best. The company I went with prior had to come out 5 times and still could not fix their mistakes. This company uses brackets, not railing. Door is balanced and even. Employees are customer oriented and friendly. The only thing to consider when purchasing a shower is the seam. Beware! When two glass panels meet, if there is granite or whatever hindering the process to put together the tape inside WILL SHIFT and BUBBLE with AIR POCKETS. ABQ Shower came out and attempted to fix but still not perfect.... but maybe perfection with the process stated above is not a reasonable expectation. With that aside. I am pleased!

I can't say enough good things about this company. They were cheaper and moved more quickly from shopping to installation than anyone else we looked at. The people who work there are also incredibly professional and accommodating. Our frameless shower door looks great; it really completes our updated bathroom. Shop local!

This company has left a bad taste in my mouth. Several weeks of phone calls & they cannot schedule someone for a measure/consult. I am not allowed to contact the person who comes to the house. Not allowed to talk to an owner or manager; cowards! No customer service & no interest in customer satisfaction! This business does not even text for efficiency of communication. No email communication offered. I have contacted other glass companies. They have agreed to come in 1-2 days & allow me to talk directly to the measure/consult person. At ABQ Custom Shower I was only allowed to talk to Valerie; no one else. Very poor way to operate a business.Their arrogance is very offensive!

I can't rave enough about John and his crew, the quality of the install, timeliness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile. The next shower enclosure is already in the planning stages.

This company's owner willfully refused to honor a commitment made on two separate occasions by his installers that once they had adjusted my shower doors any further needed adjustments would be made at no charge. This commitment was made by the installers even though they knew that their company had not installed the doors initially. Therefore, you cannot trust any representations made by this company's employees because the owner will not honor them.

Great prices, beautiful and high quality glass shower doors, prompt and courteous service. I couldn't be more pleased with the two new shower doors and glass mirror that they installed in my home today.

Hands down the WORST experience we have ever had with any company EVER. We placed our original order in November 2020. The first piece of glass broke at the tempering plant extending our installation date by over 2 weeks. We then had our next piece of glass installed and 9 days later it spontaneously EXPLODED in our bathroom in the middle of the night. This not only required huge clean up, it broke our newly installed tile floors and granite shower bench which then had to be removed and replaced. This was a HUGE inconvenience for us, but we were patient and understanding that this was not ABQ Custom Shower Doors fault and were willing to work with them to make things right. Then after waiting another month, the next replacement piece of glass was unable to be used as it was scratched and unusable when they went to pick it up from the plant. We were told it was going to be yet ANOTHER 3 WEEKS until the next replacement glass could be made. At this point, we were incredibly frustrated and were asking for a refund because of all of the hassle this entire ordeal has caused us (which we feel is incredibly reasonable to do). We were patiently waiting for our FINAL glass replacement and called today to check on the status. While they gave us the refund, we were just informed that the replacement glass order was simply canceled, they were DONE with us and "didn't feel they could make us happy", and that the glass we have been so patiently waiting for was THROWN IN THE DUMPSTER personally by the owner of this company because he was mad. At first, this company did what they could to make things right....BUT the company owner just personally insulted us saying we were "just trying to get free shower glass" after everything we have been through with them. While we understand this situation has been hard for both parties involved yelling at us and insulting our intentions as customers to your business is so incredibly disrespectful. We were patient and understanding despite their incredible incompetence and have nothing to show for it except insults from the owner, holes drilled in our granite and tile, and half-installed hardware with no shower glass. BUYERS BEWARE

John came to our home for an estimate and measurements for a shower door. He was timely, cordial and professional. Door was ready within 5 days. Install went great! I received phone call prior to installers arriving and they arrived shortly after the call. Gabe and Ben were friendly, courteous and professional. They did the install in a very short time and did a super job! And they left no mess! We have used ABQ Custom Shower Doors before. They made wall mirrors and a shower door for our remodeled master bath. Experience was the same! So refreshing to deal with a company that takes such pride in producing a quality product as well as top notch customer care! 5 star company!
