Plenty of space and resources for any event you can imagine.Plenty of rooms for breakout sessions, greater sessions, meals, and formals. Plenty of art to keep your mind busy in the hallways and plenty of support to make sure that your event is an ultimate success. Their A/V team was top notch during the LULAC National Conference.Would totally support another event like this here in ABQ.

Standard convention center to hold events- Festival of Trees, etc. Parking isn't the easiest and generally not the safest part of town. There's some nice artwork around the building and plaza, but still a lot of homeless hang around the corners of the building. On this particular day back in late August, I went to visit the new Breaking Bad statues. Only one side of the building was open, so I had to walk around. Neat to see and got many pictures. One of the construction workers walking around the building even offered to take my photo with "Walt" and "Jesse". 2022 #48

I've been to a lot of different events at the Albuquerque event center. It has a nice spacious layout perfect for a wide verity of gatherings. Comic con, concerts, comedy shows, proms, tattoo shows and weddings! The facility and their bathrooms are alway nice and clean. The artwork is awesome as well.

Went in to take a picture with the new Breaking Bad statue and the lady (or dude) was very rude! I don't think that is the type of person that you should have working there. Why is there a statue for people to take pictures with if the person working there does not let them? We needed gas, but we waited until after we got out of Albuquerque because I did not want to give the city any of my hard earned money!

I've been to a lot of convention centers, so I have seen better, but it really does have a lot of what you need, such as places to sit and meeting rooms. But, it doesn't exactly have that many establishments nearby to get food quickly. The entire neighborhood seemed pretty deserted to me. The hall could have been decorated with more artwork, especially being so close to Santa Fe which is so filled with art. The "park" in front is very strange because it is all concrete and not very "park-like." it was just sufficient enough for the conference.

I haven't been to many convention centers, so it's hard to have a baseline to compare it to. However, I found the Albuquerque Convention Center adequate. The concessions stand really should be addressed as it was pretty pathetic honestly. "Nachos" (gas station nachos are better, and that's saying something) for 5 bucks and a pretzel for about the same was about the only options. They could really do so much better if they put even an ounce of effort into it, so I have to give that a 1/5.However, that being said, the rest of the experience wasn't bad. The walk from the garage to the auditoriums is quite long, but I suspect this is probably fairly normal as you have to figure out parking in a downtown area. The auditorium spaces that I saw were adequately setup and appropriate for the venue. Staff did a very good job of keeping it clean and security was very professional. 4/5 at least for that, offsetting the very disappointing concessions. While I could probably point out a bunch of stuff they could do to make it better, overall it was ok, and I think they should focus their most immediate attention to the concessions stand (eat a bunch before you get here). Not having much convention center experience, it's hard to rate it, but overall "adequate " was the word that came to mind so I'll give it 3/5 overall.

The place is clean and nice. Catering services did a wonderful job and although I wasn't impressed with the food on the first day, the meals did get progressively better. The servers are incredibly friendly and attentive. There are plenty of water bottle refill stations, which is a nice plus.My issue with the Albuquerque Convention Center is that the Internet is the worst, it constantly disconnects. I can't tell you how many times I had to re-connect all over again because it would automatically disconnect me. I started to think maybe here was something wrong with my device but I found out that everyone else in our group had the same issue as well. This definitely needs to be looked at, especially because so many people stop by for work-related functions, meaning they have to get work done! It's impossible to do when the Internet is so unstable.

The site has some beautiful art on the outside of the building. There are also some great art pieces inside as well scattered around the building. The indoor space is bright and colorful.
