My father became a patient of Dr. Whitehouse after being admitted to Presbyterian Hospital with a severe and distressing condition: maggots in his wound, which necessitated urgent debridement. Upon arriving at the emergency department, Dr. Whitehouse introduced himself with a calm assurance and took the time to outline a comprehensive plan of care tailored for my father. His excellent bedside manner transformed a terrifying experience into a more manageable one, providing both my father and our family with a sense of reassurance.Following the surgical procedure, Dr. Whitehouse stood out as the only physician who personally took the time to update me on my father's condition. He met me at the bedside, where he thoughtfully discussed how the debridement had proceeded and carefully examined the wound. In stark contrast, the attending physician failed to reach out during the 3-4 days of my father's admission, leaving me in a state of uncertainty.I am profoundly grateful to Dr. Whitehouse for his exceptional attentiveness and compassionate care. His commitment to my father's well-being has made a significant difference in our lives, especially since he agreed to assume responsibility for my father's follow-up care. Before we found Dr. Whitehouse, we were making weekly trips to Santa Fe for podiatry and wound care visits, which were both stressful and time-consuming. Now, we visit Dr. Whitehouse weekly, and we deeply appreciate his kind demeanor and meticulous attention to my father's extensive wound care. The staff at his practice is consistently friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The facility is clean, and the convenience of restrooms in the lobby adds to the overall positive experience. Dr. Whitehouse has not only provided medical expertise but has also restored our faith in compassionate healthcare. We are truly thankful for him and the supportive environment he fosters.

I've been having trouble with pain after walking for just 20 minutes. I was told I should see a podiatrist, so I called them, and they scheduled me for the next day. Dr. Hernandez-Lingao was very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful in his explanations and suggestions. I recommend this place and the doctor I saw.

Dr. Zachary Haas and his staff are top notch. Helpful, friendly, compassionate and patient. Peaceful atmosphere. Everything about this place makes you feel confident in their abilities.A few years ago, I had to have a bunionectomy and Dr. Haas did an excellent job all the way through the process. I was really nervous about having surgery, but he and his medical team were so down-to-earth and warm, they really helped to calm my fears. For a long time now, I've had plantar fasciitis in both feet, and finally made an appointment with Dr. Haas. He gave me exercises to do daily which helped relieve the pain within a few days. He also recommended I change my inserts which could be purchased at Heart & Sole Sports where I've purchased running shoes and a different insert. Dr. Haas said that if none of this helped, we could look at custom-made prescription orthotics which are much more expensive. He thought the over-the-counter ones would be sufficient.Other friends have since gone to Dr. Haas to have their own foot surgeries and all have had successful ones.

Dr. Mark Haas might have some expertise in podiatry, but it isn't in the area of orthorics and it relates to getting the correct sizing and durable materials. I spent $500 plus for a pair of orthorics that were a complete disaster. Went back to my original pair made by a Kaiser podiatrist, and that Mark Haas "make-shifted" with a white gauge bandaged (that costed nothing -- while the Haas replacements came from an outside source. The front office staff were strained to smile and interact professionally -- the transcriber sent me a draft copy of her notes of my consultant with M.Haas, which was riddled with misspelling, grammatical errors and inaccuracies in my conversation with the doctor. When I brought in the so-called "draft" to point that I shouldn't haven't been sent a draft -- the situation was treated as if I was a "pain in there morning." Yelp has posted three other complaints similar to mine. I'd look a little harder to find another medical professional to take care of my feet.

beware!! beware!!!I was sold a Draco ankle brace from this office for $125. The same uncomfortable brace is $35 on Amazon. I was told my insurance (Medicare) would be billed and I would be responsible if they did not pay. Well, guess who did not pay? I called Medicare since that seemed unreasonable as I had a sprain and fracture in my ankle. I was informed that it was billed with a modifier which means in Medicare lingo " don't bother to pay this".I called the billing and was hung up on. I sent a registered letter to Dr Zachary Haas for which I got no return signature or answer. Eventually the office manager, Sheeny, called and said it was a mistake! They would rebuild it. That was nearly two months ago. It has not been reviled and I am still being charged $125 for a crummy $35 ankle brace.

Dr. Cobb started treating my son For a club foot when he was five months old. There isn't enough time to remotely describe how insanely chaotic and hard the first few months of his life were due to being born at UNMH. We originally tried having his foot treated at Carrie Tingley which was a complete joke. I came to Dr. Cobb with a lot of emotions and heartbreak and carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders because of how much we had been through, and as busy as he is, he took the time to listen to our story and treat us accordingly from there on out. He is very knowledgeable and very compassionate. He has a wonderful personality and I truly enjoy going to him for my sons medical care. It's just unfortunate I didn't meet him and his practice at a different time in our life when I wasn't this blubbering mess of an emotional train wreck, always crying and overprotective of my son due to everything we had been through. I wish they could have gotten to experience the real me which is a very wonderful person I'd like to think! But him and his team have handled me with so much grace and patience. This guy really knows his stuff and loves what he does. There was recently a few hiccups with the a front of house staff member regarding order placements for my sons devices, but that was only with one person who I won't mention in the review. It's always hard when a practice runs perfectly and a bad egg isn't an accurate reflection of the operation. Knowing Dr. Cobb's standards as evident by the rest of his team, I'm sure that problem will get fixed very quickly. This place felt like a light at the end of a very dark tunnel and I will remember AAP with immense fondness for the rest of my life as I look back on my son's journey. Thank you Dr. Cobb for all you have done for us and I'm so sorry for being Momzilla.

Re: Haas, podiatrists, father and son. I would not recommend either doctor to anyone. Even in case of an emergency. My reasons are as follows. Several years ago the younger Haas removed a damaged toenail. Now, part of the nail has grown back but in a distorted fashion, which makes its clipping difficult. Not only was the removal inadequate, but the operation was very painful. (During my second visit the Haas clinic, Haas senior told me that it was possible to inject a solution at the base of the removed nail in order to prevent it from growing back Why was this not done by Haas Jr.?) Two weeks ago I developed a callus under a toe. This made walking awkward and painful. In light of my previous experience, I decided to visit a podiatrist but not the same one who removed the toenail. It seemed that the father, being older, might be more patient and more concerned about the patient's well being. Accordingly, I visited the clinic where the senior Haas cut out the callus. My experience with he senior Haas was also disappointing. After two weeks the same toe was still giving me problems. In order to walk I had to put the pressure on my heel instead of on the sole, as is normally done. While the doctor was cutting out the callus, I asked two questions. Neither one was answered to my satisfaction. For the first question I asked if the doctor could recommend a special brand of orthopedic shoes for severe flat feet cases with side support provided by metal plates. (I had such a pair years ago but had forgotten the brand name.) To my amazement, the doctor replied that he had never heard of this type. For my second question I asked his professional opinion about a set of arch support orthotics l had purchased at REl's. The doctor did not bother to examine them. Instead of answering a medical question, he referred me to a local sporting goods store.Upon leaving the doctor ordered his staff to take an x-ray of my foot. No reasons nor explanation given, and no feedback provided!. To boot, I had to pay for a CD copy of the xray. No, I do not recommend either doctors, even in case of an emergency.
