My daughter is just starting her school years, K@ GOK & I am already inquiring about 6th grade admissions. I just rec'd a personal call back from the Director of Admissions; Judy Hudenko inviting us to their once-a-yr open house on Oct. 31st. Ms. Hudenko was highly informative & encouraging and I was very impressed with her response to my email! I will do whatever it takes for the brightest future possible!

I scheduled an appointment only to be told I'm not on the schedule, followed by being asked who I spoke to... information I did not know I would need later. The woman was very rude and unprofessional, not willing to help, basically acting as though I was inconveniencing her after this wasted my time Ahmed gas. My advice if you decide to try it out, is to get a name and call before hand.

School: Head over heels in love with this school. Amazing teachers, amazing classmates, amazing extracurriculars, amazing campus. Couldn't really imagine being more prepared academically upon graduation, and my great experiences during Grade 6-12 shaped who I am and, to a significant extent, likely will remain, as a person. I'm at Harvard now, and many aspects of college just can't compare to Academy. There is significant financial aid, but tuition is obviously still a huge deal compared to APS/charter schools; I think that's the only reason a student should consider not attending. And Academy is on a different level from all the other private schools in the city. Message me if you have any questions.Campus Trails: 200+ acres of open desert space in the middle of Northeast Heights, definitely a place to check out for running! Running around the campus perimeter as well as trails within the mesa are all public.
