I'ts A Failure Of Mgmt!3 weeks ago I bought $1200 worth of new tires. I was very explicit telling the gent at the counter that the left front tire is newer than the rest, it was the spare and was to be saved as the spare.Fast forward 3 weeks I return to this shop because of poor handling at higher speeds. I very clearly said that the tires need to be balanced and that the tire pressure warning light needs to be reset. The question I had, was "why weren't they balanced properly when I purchased them". One hour later a mgmt, person came to tell me that the tire pressure was ok. I asked if the tires were balanced? The person said they didn't know but would check. As it turns out the tires were not balanced, but that they would get on it right away. Another hour later tires balanced they went to check the spare because the warning light would not go out. When they removed the spare tire cover, I noticed that that 3 weeks ago they put the blown out tire in the place for the spare. When I brought it to the young mgrs. attention they said they would replace it with a similar tire, which they did.One hour later spare in place and tires balanced as they were ready to give me my keys I asked them if they reset the tire pressure warning light. No they didn't but would get on it right away. Which they did. Three and a half hours after arriving I was on my way. This was a comedy of errors and complacency. I make it a point to go to local owned businesses when I can. If they can't respect my time and provide first class work, I will return to the national owned franchises.There was no rhyme or reason to their operation here. No systems of work or control. Too many chiefs not following up on anything. I'm retired now but when I was working I was compensated nicely for my hourly rate. My 3.5 hours that I wasted here today should have been seriously compensated to me. All I got was, "sorry", and "we'll get on it right away." Sorry folks but that just does not get it!

After searching for a good tire place from Rio Rancho to Abq, I came across Alberto's Tire Pros. I initially came here for tires and to get all 4 brakes, rotors etc replaces. They took a look at my vehicle and explained to me only my back breaks needed replaced. They explained and showed me what needed to be done and I was impressed with their honesty. While waiting for my vehicle I spoke to the owner. She made me aware they've been in business (if I can recall) for more than 20+ years and after dealing with them I understand how they managed to do so. I was very well respected and explained all to the "T". I came back today to get my tires rotated after a few months and once again I was treated with respect and my vehicle maintenance was completed in a timely manner. I have Alberto's Tire Pros 5 Stars because they very well deserve it. Anyone needing service done should check them out. They not only specialize in tires but in exhaust, semi trucks, wheels and much more!They're bilingual staff is amazing and do their job well done! Muchas Gracias Alberto's!

This place is awesome. I had a flat tire at the airport and they came and changed it before putting new tires on at the shop. Very reasonably priced and the only shop I could find that would come off-site to put the spare on. The whole process was done in about an hour. Everyone was so nice, too.

Fantastic service and so much selection. As a female, I always feel very cautious when purchasing anything for my car, as I'm not very knowledgeable about the subject. I brought my boyfriend to help ensure I wouldn't get ripped off, and we were both so happy with how our purchase turned out. The gentleman working there was very respectful and helpful and I will definitely be back for future services.

I have been a customer at Alberto's for many many years. They have always had great customer service and usually can complete the work needed in a very timely manner. So it makes me sad to write this review today but it is definitely needed after the experience I had there this afternoon. I called around 8:30 this morning to find out the cost for an alignment on my husbands truck as well as a tire rotation and balance. I spoke to the girl usually works the front and is always friendly. She quoted me $79 for the alignment, $10 per tire for balance, and $10 for the rotation. I took the truck over and dropped it off around 9am. I checked in with Alberto, the owner of the shop and told him what I wanted done. He wrote everything down and got my info on the work order and said he would call when the work was completed, probably around 2 hours since there was one truck in front of me. I gave him my phone number since my husband was at work but told him that the account was under his phone number so he wrote that down as well to look up the account with. I waited at home most of the day and still had heard nothing from them. At 1pm my husband called to tell me to go pick up the truck. That they called him at work and told him he needed to replace several things on the truck before they could do the alignment. He told them no and that I would be coming to pick up the truck and called me. I went over to go get it and the man at the counter gave me an $89 bill. I asked why and he gave me the prices for the tire rotation and balance and a $25 diagnostic fee. I told him that no one told me there was any kind of diagnostic fee when I called or when I dropped off the truck. Alberto came over to help and asked what was going on. When I explained to him that I wasn't told about this fee, I wanted to know what it was for and why no one called to discuss it with me. He told me the fee was to inspect the truck for anything that might need to be fixed before doing the alignment. I replied that I was not told about this when I called or when I dropped the truck off and then he explained that they didn't know it would be needed until after they looked at it. That the fee was really for writing an estimate for the needed repairs. I asked again why I was not called and a lady sitting behind a desk said in Spanish that she had called my husband and he agreed to the charge. I told him that my husband was at work and should have never been called and disturbed at work. That he did not agree to this and told her that I could indeed speak Spanish. She got up and came over to the counter clearly mad and began telling me that she called my husband because his number was on the work order paper. Alberto told her that he wrote that down because our account was under that phone number and that I was supposed to be the one being called. She said is a very nasty tone of voice that since I spoke Spanish she would talk to me only in Spanish (I guess not believing that I actually could, ya know since I'm a white girl). She told me that she spoke with my husband and told him that he needed repairs but would only give the cost of the repairs if he agreed to the fee. This is now the third time the story has changed and I told her I did not believe this to be true. She began yelling at me asking if I had even talked to him, which clearly I had or I would not have known to go get the truck. I again told them I would not pay the fee and felt like I was being taken advantage of. This made the woman even more angry (aren't I the one who is supposed to be angry) and continued to argue with me. I told her that I would not argue with her nor would I pay the fee and she began banging her hands on the counter in front of me yelling at me and saying I needed to stop yelling at her (which I was not) and that she didn't need customers like me (whatever that means). I asked for the bill minus the fee and the keys to the truck. She walked over to her desk yelling in spanish about what a disgusting pig my husband was and that she never wanted to see me in her shop again. I replied that I was a customer of 10+ years but would never be back after being treated like that! She replied good because we don't want you here. The quote they showed me for the "repairs" they claimed the truck needed to have before it could be aligned was for $1600 in parts and labor. I took the truck to brake masters this afternoon and they did the alignment no problem and said all of the parts they claimed needed to be replaced were just fine. I am truly disgusted that they feel like it is ok to treat people like this.

This is a great place my husband and I was traveling from Dallas Texas to find out we had knots on both of our front tires, called all types of tire places that didn't have 20 inch rims in stock. Called Martha (manager) she said we had just missed the cut off time to order and they would be able to get them on Monday mind you this is Friday evening we are traveling on bubbled tires and they my exploded at any moment, Martha said give me a minute called back and said she was able to get in touch with their vendor and the tires would be in Saturday morning for pick up. They called us and did an amazing job balancing and rotating our dually truck. I say this is by far the best tire shop I've ever been to they treated us with respect and they were very timely with the work. Great job

This is a great place. Had the best price on the tires I wanted and the people at the front desk were very nice. All the employee's seemed to really want to do a good job. So rare to find!
