Alameda GreenHouse

There's a great selection. Prices are reasonable. Some staff are really helpful. Aisles seemed pretty narrow in some areas. That's really only a problem if you have a wagon with plants and/or trees. This is one of my "go to" nurseries.

A local greenhouse. My first time visiting! A calm place to just enjoy the beauty of all the variety plants. The employees here are very thoughtful. Some of the succulents aren't ready to be purchased. I love that they don't let customers buy them just so they can make their money....There will be a sign that says "not for sale yet", it's nice that we can see the process. They really take good care of their plants. The place is nice and organized. Even the customers here were very helpful. I was told by an employee to join their mailing list for a free plant coupon. Can't wait to visit when the succulents are ready to be purchased!

The new Alameda GreenHouse is my current go to for bedding plants. Pleasant and helpful staff.

There is one elderly lady in particular who earned this rating for the Greenhouse. We called and had questions about the plants we ordered. She was rude and didn't have the time for us. My husband and I decided to go in and receive guidance. Unfortunately, we were met with the same rude women who proceeded to embarrass us in front of the other customers and announced on her walkie-talkie that someone needed to come help us because she didn't have the patience. We will never return.

I get that showing up on Memorial Day at 2pm knocks out a lot of assortment that I was looking for, but ALAMEDA GREENHOUSE knocked it out of the park on Customer Service and kindness on 5/29/23. The employees were enthusiastic and cheerful and helpful. And I found what I needed! Very opposite of my experience 20min prior at OSUNA NURSERY. Those employees were unhelpful to the max. I usually don't have that experience there, but I will make ALAMEDA greenhouse my "go to" in the future.

Where have you been all my 12 months here? Seriously love this place. If osuna is your rich aunt in Santa Fe alameda is your funky uncle In Taos. Great vibes and beautiful plants. My new favorite nursery

I called Alameda Greenhouse to see if they had ladybugs since my garden had aphids. A lady answered and I was put on hold indefinitely... I finally hung up after 12 minutes. I am designing and remodeling my backyard and courtyard with a $4000 budget allotted for trees and plants. Guess who won't be getting my business? I love supporting local but I will not support businesses who don't care enough to take down my number and call me back at their earliest convenience.

Good selection. Love that is in the neighborhood. However, there is a dog that doesn't like children and barks at them without provocation. Not a great place to take even middle school age kids who have interest in gardening.

Only been in NM 2 years so still learning the climate ropes. 1st time visiting Alameda Greenhouse. What a wonderful selection of healthy plants in a maze of greenery. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, cheerful, and Kat was a downright font of information! While nothing is cheap these days prices here are a bit less than some close by other places. Frankly price or not..... based on experience this place is my new best garden friend.

Alameda Greenhouse used to be my favorite place to go for plants and trees. I have been going there for almost 30 years and have bought probably a hundred trees and plants. The last 2 years, it has not been good. I've bought 2 trees and they both most of have been dead when i bought them in March because they didn't grow. In fact this year, the tree didn't even have any roots! So, now, I just can't take the chance any more - it costs too much money to keep buying plants there and they not live. The sad part is the warranty is like why bother...
