Affordable Sewing and Vacuum Repair

One of the prongs on the plug of my vacuum cleaner cord snapped off and I was looking for someone to replace it. I randomly called another repair place in town and they told me it would be $25 and would take one to two weeks.I then called Affordable Sewing and Vacuum Repair and they told me I could bring it in right away and they would replace it.The owner of the place replaced it right away and only charged me $3.00! I was shocked! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes (tops).I am recommending them to all my friends and relatives!

First of all I want to thank others who have left reviews for this business because it led me to them.Last week I brought in a 20-year-old Dyson vacuum cleaner that was not doing a good job at all of picking up cat hair. I had a little hope for this machine and was almost ready to buy a new one but I thought I would give this business an opportunity to see if they could get the machine working better. Good call. Save me several hundred dollars to be honest. I called and spoke with a very generous woman who answered all of my questions and gave me an initial quote for the base service which was $59.95. I was told it might take a week to get the machine back and it actually took a little bit less than that.I just picked up the vacuum and it looks brand new. Since this Dyson is 20 years old and parts are no longer available through dyson, the repair person sourced two parts from another used vacuum by Dyson and install those parts for me at a very reasonable cost and at no additional repair cost.Bottom line for roughly $90 I have an almost new Dyson that is clean runs expertly and has a new used cord and another part that was missing off the machine.I am so grateful that this business lives up to its name affordable. Please don't hesitate to use their services or recommend them to anyone you know who might be in need of vacuum or sewing machine repairs

This is an incredible little place. I heard that they could repair your old vacuums to like new condition, and they did. It was so wonderful not to create more junk by throwing them away. I had a 10-year-old Miele and a cheaper floor vacuum. He repaired and cleaned them both to like new. This is a little-known Jem. They also sell refurbished vacuums. Highly recommend!

My much loved 20+ year old Miele vacuum cleaner is back to good as new condition, once again humming away. Reasonable cost and quick service restored it - a broken reel and bad electrical connection is a common eventuality with these - and I had it back the next morning. A better option than tossing it aside and buying a new one, and these folks made that possible!

I will first off saying I would rate 10 stars if I could!!!My husband and I took my sewing machine into AFFORDABLE SEWING and VACUMM REPAIR this past week. We were kindly greeted by Rick the owner. My sewing machine had not been working, Rick quickly started to look at the machine explaining as he investigated the problem. In No time it was fixed! We appreciate the knowledge and excellent service he provided to us, as it was such a memorable experience, we will surely utilize them for all our sewing and repair needs. We looked High & Low for the right repair person/company to repair our Eletrolux Vacuum Cleaner and were told by several (unnamed) companies that we needed to buy a new vacuum cleaner. When we finally fount Rick's repair shop, we were so very happy that he would "Repair" the vacuum cleaner and not ask us to buy a new one. He did a fast reliable job, and we couldn't be happier. Well, I found the perfect place for sewing machine repair and tune up. Affordable took care of my sewing machine and did so in a timely manner. Staff were great. The transaction was flawless. Pricing was great. Parking was right outside the door. They also take care of vacuums.

Okay, so here is my review. We have a Shark Rotator vacuum that my wife loves. One day it just stopped working. We bought a new vacuum and it really sucked, but not in a good way. We took our broken vacuum to Affordable and rather than just taking it in the back room, this guy just plugged it in and within two minutes he had fixed it. FOR NO CHARGE!!! This guy is trying to bring honesty back to this business, and as far as I'm concerned, he has! If I could give him ten stars. He's got my business forever.

Outstanding customer service! Hands down I picked my Dyson vacuum up, she looks BRAND NEW! My vacuum sucks, now she really sucks and I LOVE it! Super impressed, she runs like a champ! It was ready for pickup the very next day. I HIGHLY recommend this place, as I certainly will return for another cleaning.

Our Dyson 10 vacuum cleaner had a broken trigger and the staff at Affordable Sewing and Vacuum Repair on Eubank NE quickly repaired it. Not only did they replace the trigger mechanism, they also performed a complete service inspection on our machine that included an in-depth cleaning. Our vacuum cleaner is about three years old, but performs like a new machine. Great job!
