Advanced Skylight Systems

Absolutely horrible customer service! I own a small local remodeling company and contacted Advanced Skylight Systems to fabricate new globes for a client of mine with an existing skylight that was in need of repair. I removed the globes and after speaking with Carlos on the phone and he advised me to bring them into his shop for measurements. I dropped the globes off on Wednesday and asked when I could pick them up. The answer I was given was "probably not this week". To which I responded "so next week then"? After some grumbling about how far behind schedule he was he asked for my phone number and said he would call when it was done. I informed him that the repair was for one of my elderly clients and that I needed at least an approximate expected time of completion to which he replied, and I quote "it's always some little old lady, or grouchy old man. Tel her it will be done when it's done".One week later, still waiting........

Didn't back up the skylights that leaked told me I was wrong and they can't leak. They were leaking I will never but another skylight from them again. I stand behind my products I sell to customers of companies can't do the same for me I don't support them any longer.

I wish I could give no stars. Avoid this place if you enjoy good businesses practices, like getting called back and notified of how long something will take. I ordered a skylight four weeks ago. Nothing and the guy won't commit to a time frame. Just called and he said very quickly, "I'm not there, I'm out of the office, call me tomorrow morning, bye." and hung up on me.I like to support local businesses but not at all costs, lol. Unbelievable

The house we moved into had badly cracked skylight domes. After watching YouTube, I decided it was a DIY. Checked for local replacement domes and was pleased to find Advanced Skylight Systems. Made contact with Hugo by phone, then commenced to removing the old domes in order to take them to Advanced for exact measurements. (I covered the open hole with Styrofoam, held down by the retainer.) Working with Hugo was a pleasure! By then next day, I had made-to-order custom double domes, and the domes were already put together and ready to install. Hugo was very pleasant and helpful, answering all of my self-installation questions. Not only was there the one day turnaround, but their prices beat the (poorly fitting) replacements at Big Box as well as the prices of the mass producers online (and out of state). The domes were a perfect fit and installation was quick and easy.

Very happy. Although we had skylights replaced 6 years ago, I am confident that this review will be helpful. Eric replaced 3 low quality, poorly installed, skylights by a building contractor (2008). His pricing, quality of work and promptness is excellent. I highly recommend him.
