Yum, yum, yum! Great margaritas and terrific authentic Mexican food. Just visiting the area but so glad we stopped for dinner. I had the Pastor tacos and they were probably one of the best I have had in a very long time. Will be back next time I am in town.

I opted for the fajitas, and the sizzling plate arrived with a burst of enticing aromas. The perfectly grilled meats, flavorful vegetables, and warm tortillas made for a satisfying dish. My wife's taco platter was equally impressive, showcasing a selection of authentic Mexican flavors that delighted her palate. She's usually not a "lengua" person, but I talked her into it, and she was happy with her choice.The service at Adelitas was exceptional, with staff members attentively catering to our needs. Our glasses were never empty, thanks to the prompt and friendly servers. The authentic taste of their fresh salsa was ravenously scooped and scarfed with fresh chips.The high quality of the food and service, the reasonable prices, and a cool and comfortable setting make Adelitas a fantastic value. As visitors from Los Angeles, where finding authentic Mexican cuisine can be done while blindfolded, we were pleased by the culinary gem that is Adelitas in Santa Fe. It's a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Mexican fare in a welcoming and laid-back setting.

I rate this 3.5 stars. 4 is too high. Parking sucks. Service is significantly lacking. Food was very good. I ordered a dish with mushrooms and they told me they had no mushrooms so i switched to basic chicken fajitas. My wife got enchiladas with a mushroom sauce; that sauce was premade. It was excellent. Chips were burnt. My wife got a frozen strawberry margarita that was only on ice even though she was assured it would be frozen. Price was high. They had women Mexican band and were excellent.

After reading the reviews I was extremely nervous. Here are the final results. - The chips were literally the most stale I have ever had. I would highly recommend serving warm and fresh. It's the first sign of whats to come. - The tampiqueña was surprisingly good. Basic grill meat but with lime and the beans, made up for alot. - Stop charging more for cards. It's 2024 and the fees should not have to be covered by the customer.- garnish charge of $1.50 for limes. Really? I mean the most basic of Mexican restaurant items and you charge to help season up the bland saltless meat you serve? Would I come here again, not if they don't change those things.Would I agree with all the 1 stars, not entirely but a few points hit the mark.

Came here because it had decent reviews and close to my hotel. Ordered a Silver Margarita which was good, not outstanding, and it was at least an inch below the rim. Chips and salsa could definitely be improved. Salsa was so-so and the chips were cold and stale tasting. Like time for a change of grease in the deep fat fryer. Sat at the bar which wasn't very comfortable. No place for knees which made it difficult to eat. Appreciated there were hangers for purses. Had an Indian Taco/ Christmas which was very good. Nice and hot. Preferred the green over the red. An older lady took my order and did check on me once. Other than that I wasn't particularly impressed with service. Doubt if I'd ever return.

Zero stars!1) Asked for aqua fresca. Took over 5 minutes to arrive. On bill they charged me for two! Luckily I checked the receipt 2) Corn or flour tortilla? Flour...ate half my meal...waited...where's my flour tortilla??? Had to ask them for it3) Told the waitress we were ready to order....waited, saw her in the front talking and laughing....service means nothing here4) Did sopapilla come with the meal??? Unclear...had to ask and was charged $1.50 each. Other places were free5) salsa not good 6) chips not free. First basket free, second basket close to $3They didn't want my money, service sucks, check your bill...all this made my experience poor. Never again!!!Not sure if racist or not...but yeah, I definitely felt they were giving me the cold shoulder and talking about me behind/in front in me at the register. (I am not white or Mexican)
