Excuse the grandma bra (I didn't want my regular ones to rub on it). This is my tattoo the morning after I got it.

What a phenomenal experience. Brian Ashcraft was able to design and tattoo an extremely precise and delicate design. Not pain free, but pretty close. The facility is clean, modern, and comfortable. Professional staff and reasonable prices. This is my 4th tattoo and the best experience. I am stoked for my new art and so very appreciative for such amazing talent.

My ex wife went in to get an inner thigh tattoo covered up. Both David and Brian refused to do it because of their Christ like values. Apparently there had been some allegations (lies) in the past. So David decided to no longer touch areas of women that were meant to only be touched by their husbands. Brenda is my ex wife but I still don't like the idea of her being touched in those areas by anyone else. Thank you addictive ink!

Alright y'all. Addictive ink is the place to go! I had the incredible pleasure of having Brian as my artist. He was incredibly patient and helpful with me as I tried to translate my ideas (or lack of) and make them a reality. I got my tattoo on my rib cage and even though I was prepared for the worst Brian is a talented enough artist to make it all more than bearable. To start he placed and replaced my stencil about five times, each time trying to ensure that it was in the exact right place. Super friendly and easy to get along with. I will be driving out of my way each time to have Brian tattoo me in the future. (I live in Phoenix). I highly recommend this place. Clean, inviting, and reasonably priced.

David is amazing. Very professional and creative. I came in with a idea and walked out with a amazing price of art on my arm. More than impressed with his work. This is the second time that I have used him and will definitely be going back. I have recommended him and will be recommending him to all my friends and family. This guy has talent. His staff is courteous and helpful. If you are not sure exactly what you want, they will give you ideas and you will not be disappointed.

It's too bad the "Christian way" is lost once you enter the building. From the start, we should have seen the writing on the wall! David was late to our initial appointment because he had to get food. Then, we were advised of the tattoo needing four additional appointments/sessions (forearm tattoo). This was scheduled four months out. We placed a $100 deposit and expressed we were serious about it. As the time went on, I was advised the brain cancer I was diagnosed with had a turn. My wife expressed there were some issues and asked if we could get our deposit back. We were told "no" and that we had made an agreement and we were held to that agreement. Fine, whatever. Our family is friends with each other so why make it an issue...... We kept the meeting and then told him that it would need to change (the original tattoo design) but apparently, this was forgotten. So when the date comes closer, I get a reminder that my appointment was on a specific day and at 1200. I show up on the prescribed day and required time. As I sat in the office, David's partner asks if I was contacted by David stating he was running late. I check my phone and say "nothing on my phone". About ten minutes later, I get a text saying that he thought the appointment was at 1230 and he was running late. I had been there since 1145. Once 1230 came and went, I left and later asked to be refunded the $100. I was given a long text about how the original artwork had taken so many hours to make yet I was never given a look to make it was good to go. The alternative artwork was sent to me, which looked like a computer compilation of what I had requested, for review. The $100 would not be refunded because " I didn't provide him a heads up of the change (BS) and there were hours built into the original art work which I never had the opportunity to preview. So really, what this boils down to, he must really need that $100 to be late to an appointment Trent he sent me the reminder for and then make such a stink about it afterwards. Again, four sessions to do what another artist took 1.5 hrs to do. That equals a scam! Addictive Ink is a place you need to AVOID! He's a great artist but he'll take your money while you're looking the other way. Don't let the Christian music in the shop fool you! Beware of this shop! There are better shops out there in the ABQ area!

I had been going to Addictive for lots of years and enjoy great tattoos but Stop going when I notice that I was getting bleed I was getting overcharge and not getting the amount of work that I expected for the time I paid ( getting more CHAT time than WORK time ) , I will always get 3 hrs at a time that's $600.00 I got 5 sittings at least and only half of a whole sleeve done , I had spent so much money in that shop I should be a co owner no joke DAVE my tattoo artist charges way to much because he feels he's that good YES he was 10 years ago maybe but times have change and really great artist have arise but he's still stuck in the past never trying new techniques he just doesn't care for his shop like he cares about his church stuff . I wasn't gonna give this review because I thought we where kool but look at that amount of money that I spent that ain't kool if he's willing to do that to a loyal long time customer good luck if your a new one , I'm not saying don't go but if you do have your guard up that's all .

Discriminatory refusal to provide service to women due to thr owner viewing women as their husband's property. Besides that, the very first thing you see when you open their website is a long tirade of expectations for customers and weirdly defensive comments about employees eating. Like you're bothering them by coming in at all. What a joke. Also the artwork is extremely generic and poorly executed.

I am over-the-moon by my new art. Brian Ashcraft is a badass artist and I couldn't be more thrilled with the final product. Brian is professional, talented, and strives to do everything to make his client's experience positive. Addictive Ink is not your average tattoo shop. If you want a tattoo experience with little pain, a patient artist, and impeccably clean environment please visit Brian at Addictive Ink. Other reviewers commented about the $$, but all I have to say is you get what you pay for. And if you want something you can be proud of and enjoy the rest of your life then please go here. Did I mention this tattoo is a cover up???? That's right...a cover up!

Addictive Ink is a brilliant tattoo shop! Very professional, clean and the gentlemen are great to get along with. Brian is our tattoo artist and he is such a professional. Always willing to ensure the customer is happy with the art and the placement before he begins. Also talks about process expectations if it is a larger piece, so we were all on the same page. This is a tattoo shop worth getting established with. Thank you Brian!

Not exactly the best place in Albuquerque for a tattoo for it being so called "world renowned". Rude staff, Rude conceided owner and the shop smelled like nasty a**. The hours also suck! 12:00pm to 7:00pm REALLY? Go elsewhere for a tattoo that have better hours, nicer staff and doesn't smell so nasty!
