Great spot to take your metal to get a few bucks or maybe more, depending upon how much you have. The attendants were helpful and provided direction about what we needed to do since this was our first time. They also have noticeably less junk in the parking lot then other recyclers. Your tires will thank you for choosing the one on Juan Tabo.I recommend this business and will definitely be visiting again the next time I have some metal to recycle.

So this is a review for the Bosque Farms,Nm location. I called ahead of time to find out the current price of scrap metal. The guy I talk to on the phone told me 3 cents a pound, but if you bring it on Friday it 4 cents. So, I thought, one day 1 cent more. Why not. I get there with my load, the guy who come up tells me what I need to do. I get my vehicle weighed, unload my scrap metal, reweigh my vehicle and the guy tells me to come in to finish up. He tells me the price is the 3 cents x my lbs, I told him that the guy said if I bring in my load on Friday it was 4 cents. Ok, now your thinking, it a penny...big deal, right. Well, being that the economy is bad right now sometimes 1cent may make a difference. The guy tells me well, to get the extra cent you would have to spin the wheel. Really?! I let the guy know the guy I talked to on the phone didn't tell me that. So, he says sorry, and continued to finish my cash out at 3 cents a lb. If you want to have customers come back and tell others to come because you have a good honest place then don't tell them half of the deal. https://www.acmeironandmetal.com/

Park by the cashier and get the attention of the guys working at non-ferrous if you have some of the following: Aluminium & Aluminium Alloys.Copper.Brass....They will sort it and weigh it and give you a receipt to take to the Cashier for money. They have so much beautiful copper. It makes me want some - for what, I don't know. Then, if you have other metal stuff (ferrous) like steel and iron, you go park on the scale and the window attendant will give you a receipt. Keep driving carefully into the abyss of mountains of metal until someone tells you where to go to unload. After unloading, go sit on the weigh-out scale until they give you a thumbs up, then go see the cashier. You'll be given a receipt with a bar code that you'll scan at the machine behind you, which will dispense your $!Everyone is very helpful, you just have to ask. There's no end to their work - so. much. metal.

Have been here half a dozen times in the last year or so. Found all the employees to be very helpful, even to the point of helping to unload the sacks of cans that I take there. Access in and out is good. The cashier is always pleasant and you even get a cookie or some other treat when you get your receipt. Nice little perk. It's amazing how just little things like that you remember and can put a smile on your day.

Customer service is lacking, the helper seems alright but the owner has attitude. He believes no matter what he is correct and the customer is wrong. Gone is the saying the customer is always right. An that is very apparent at the bosque farms location. Just read the Google reviews and see how arrogant this guy is. Besides the prices are much better just down the road at Ace Metal or Pueblo Metal in ABQ. You'll be happy you did!
