Abrazo Homes is by far the most innovative and respected home builder in Albuquerque and probably the entire southwest corner of the US. What truly differentiates Abrazo from the competition is their impeccable attention to detail, floor plans that "live well", smart features to make living easier, and their proven ability to bring luxury homes to market that people can afford. You will not find better value. Period. We had an awesome experience with Abrazo and I'm sure you will too. They're also really great people - I read recently that Abrazo was awarded THE best place to work in New Mexico for the last two years. There's something special happening there!

Nice looking homes but we had many issues with out foundation moving and cracking, the tile cracking in multiple locations. They never wanted to come out, they fixed it twice and it happened Again and couldn't not match the tile. After that they found a similar one. Fixed it and it broke again and they wouldn't come back after the year warranty even thought it was an existing issues. They also never came back to paint the baseboard that they put in after fixing the tile.

Abrazo built our home a bit over 4 years ago. Beautifully appointed, smart home. I have to commend them on service after the sale as well as building an amazing, well priced home! I have asked them for several things lately, like paint colors so touch ups are easy and recommendations for work we'd like done and I great response and information. Not only that they are proactive at reaching out to owners when something like the record breaking snowfall happened that could impact the roof vents. I cannot recommend this builder enough.

For the past 2 months I've been corresponding with a Larry Stapp ( sales person ) in regards to having 2 homes built I needed a Rv garage , along with a great room expansion . We corresponded over emails and everything was going great . Until we meet face to face , his whole Deminar changed , he basically wasted our time not only did he get crazy when we confronted him on price , but he lied about a few things we had asked him over email. For example there was no model too check out. After he told us there was and the bad part about all of this is we had gotten a pre approval and flew in from California . When we told him he basically wasted our time he said " no I didn't , if you don't like my pricing then go ahead and go with the other person " I responded really !!! We walked out we left and went back to D. R Horton better people better homes and a awesome salesperson Issac .

We bought an Abrazzo home, and really like it. I built custom homes in another state for almost 30 years and I know what to look for. The down side-it is impossible to reach them by phone when you call - for any reason.

Where do we even begin? If I could warn every home owner to NOT work with this company, I would. For being a "high end neighborhood" where people are spending 800k+ on these homes, Ascension is anything BUT a high end neighborhood.Dishonest:Homeowners who purchased were told that short term rentals weren't allowed in this neighborhood without proper approval by the board. Come to find out, the OWNERS all have majority share on the board, own homes in the neighborhood themselves, and are planning on renting the homes out on AirB&B. Not only that, but they have given special approval to over 6 homes in this neighborhood to be AirB&Bs. The sales folks (you know who you are) told all of us that there would be no short term rentals, but of course -- they all lied and KNEW about the fact that our entire neighborhood is turning into a short term rental haven.Lack of Accountability:This isn't our first rodeo with purchasing a new construction home, but WOW the lack of craftsmanship and accountability from the start is pretty incredible. Not only that, once you point out that the stucco looks like crap, the faucets aren't even on properly, the tile has to be redone....they punt you to their "Abrazo Warranty team" and even then it's an uphill battle to get someone out to FIX all of the issues. Apparently there is a window leaking issue in the neighborhood on multiple homes, and even with videos to prove the window is leaking, showing the WINDOW company it's leaking, they still WON'T REPLACE THE LEAKING WINDOW. They send you to a secondary warranty company. Apparently if you pay 800k+ for a home, you get shit for customer service and accountability.Profit over PEOPLE:What happened to caring about the people that actually live here? What happened to remembering that people are putting their life savings together to be able to afford a home of this cost? The people who live here full time have felt that we have received the red carpet treatment...all the way up until you close on the house. As SOON as the home is closed, it has felt that Abrazo and the entire team (sales: Warren, Warranty: Jeff and Leslie, and Owners: Brian & CK) have washed their hands of us. They have stopped answering emails, have stopped trying to fix the issues that are constantly coming up, have completely taken a step back from actually caring about those that live here and the homes that we have purchased. What they are making abundantly clear is that they care about one thing: Selling homes, but not actually the people that live in them.My hope for those reading this review is that you run...you run far away from this company. You work with another builder that will give you the time and energy you deserve. This isn't just one complaint, this is an entire neighborhood of home owners who have had issues with Abrazo since day one.

Transaction date 9/16/2022 Building portions under "One Year Workmanship" of the property and other parts/services per warranty were acknowledged and signed to be completed on initial walkthrough before closing and SIGNED at final walkthrough to be completed after closing. I recognized an issue with a landing under my stairs that had not been completed or sealed to avoid moisture or exposure to the elements, at first I was gaslight and told it was supposed to be that way, after asking more questions it was determined it would be enclosed. it has been 1 year. I have sent multiple emails to resolve it. I have 2 separate emails stating it was approved and will be fixed. I reminded them of the signed document that needs to be honored. I then got an email saying they will not complete the opening...This decision was based on incorrect information of what materials were used, I repeated and sent emails with pictures etc. They refused to send someone out to visually inspect, or forward me to any Abrazo representative above their title. This information should be readily available but it is used like the wizard of oz. I attempted to contract Chris Madrid multiple times who I had met prior that seemingly is a part of the upper management/building rep. I heard nothing back. The last email reply said they just agree to disagree and passed me on to 2-10 warranty which is not their issue. I reminded them of the breach of contract, the approval emails and the warranty of building workmanship that can result in deterioration of the structure due to elemental exposure. Last but not least EVERY single Abrazo home in Mesa Del Sol Has that area enclosed or waterproofed in someway. So its obvious there is a need for that...However My House is the ONLY house that does not and they refuse to, telling me its an esthetic feature I chose...haha riiight. They are digging their heels in because I refuse to let them get away with it. I would never suggest anyone buy an Abrazo Home.

After meeting with one of the owners, and a sales rep on November 7th we were assured that they would do whatever is necessary to address and/or correct our concerns. Unfortunately this did not happen in a timely manner. Instead of replacing or fixing the problems, they merely "covered it up" to look good for the walk-through. The fact that I needed to file a BBB complaint before they began to address some of my concerns seriously, speaks for itself. In my opinion Abrazo is an extremely unreliable company and does not operate with truthfulness and integrity. If anyone chooses to hire Abrazo LLC to have a home built, all I can say is BEWARE!!!

In addition to my review back in June of 2020 - Here I am just shy of being in my Abrazo Home for three years and my roof is leaking and I have faulty electrical wiring. I reached out to Abrazo Homes and of course they will not take responsibility. Abrazo stated that it is my responsibility to have my roof inspected and maintenanced once a year. I called a roofer out to to inspect my roof and they want to charge me $1,800.00 to replace cracked tiles and reseal vents. And $1,500.00 to have the electrical fixed.Seems to me that a roof should last longer than three years. And electrical wiring - how does that go bad? My guess is that Abrazo is not building quality homes like they claim to. This so called quality home that Abrazo sold me has become a money pit for me. I will be selling this house before it completely collapses on me. My advice to any new home, home buyer is to stay clear of Abrazo Homes.Abrazo, nice floor plan. Crappy craftmanship. Also, you may want to look up the definition of the word "quality".
