ABQ Uptown Apartments

The staff at ABQ Uptown Apartments have been nothing but helpful during the application and moving-in process. When I've had maintenance requests they've been quick to respond and resolve the issue. The complex is pet-friendly which is great. Most people pick up after their pets and the doggie bags are always stocked to make sure it's easy for pet owners. I'd like it even more if there were more elevators around the complex. Also, the apartment units aren't totally perfect, but they're pretty cozy.

Overall, I don't recommend as rent is expensive and value is not. Here's why:~$2,000/month for 1 bedroom. The interiors are similar to other apartments in ABQ that rent for less. It's not a luxury apartment- The windows and sliding doors are woefully outdated and the seals are so bad that dust and wind come thru constantly when shut- Air conditioning is so loud you can't have a conversation on the phone without turning it off- It is supposed to be secure, but gates are always broken into or jammed open. Don't let the gates fool you, the community has theft issues just as much as the next neighborhood

I have been here several years and I really love it. The people are great and if anything needs to be done to fix it gets fixed really quick it's just a nice place near 3 malls and Trader Joe's.

Very attentive and responsive staff and lovely premises with good security. Clean and friendly community. I had a few questions regarding maintenance and they responded immediately which I really appreciate (it's super easy to get a hold of someone). Kate has been especially helpful whenever I have a question and made my move from out of state so much easier!

If you are thinking of living here, I strongly advise against it After living here for almost 2 years we recently relocated to a safer part of town. During that 2 year period we had the attempted theft of one vehicle, the successful theft of our other vehicle, and the complete theft of our garage (valued at over $25,000) a crime which would be considered second degree felony larceny. We are currently in talks with our lawyer to file a lawsuit so that the perpetrator(s) can be brought to justice. As we, our legal team, and the ABQ Police believe that it was an inside job due to the amount of items stolen (a packed full garage completely emptied) as well as the perpetrator(s) successfully avoiding the security every time.If you value your peace of mind, stability, and safety then I suggest you look elsewhere. I'd steer clear of any and all Sentinel Real Estate Properties, if they are allowing this to happen on this property who know what's going on in/on the other properties maintained/owned by them. I will be posting this review everywhere that I can to ensure that everyone knows the sliminess, greediness, and downright offensive behavior and environment of this complex.

ABQ Uptown Apartments is the greatest apartment community that I've ever lived in. The staff is always very courteous and professional, the property is always maintained in pristine fashion, and it's all within walking distance of ABQ Uptown shopping center and Coronado Mall. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a great place to live to contact ABQ Uptown Apartments. I'm confident that you will be very happy with what they have to offer.- Ed R.
