I think this is one of my all time favorite stores! There is usually a young woman there to help us and she is always such a delight. All of their staff is super nice and friendly! They even go out of their way to deliver local orders which is a HUGE help for us. We are obsessed with the raspberry dark balsamic and the Gravenstein apple white balsamic. They are so delicious on a fresh sandwich or salad. I even put it on my ice cream lol it's just soooo yummy. Also the garlic infused olive oil is amazing on everything (obviously) but especially veggies. But if those flavors don't sound good to you, I'm pretty sure, you are able to sample all of the flavors. Which makes the experience even more funAlso! They have a reward system so every X amount of bottles you buy, you'll get one free! :)

Went in and sampled a couple of hotter oils. Left with a bottle of the green chile oil.Making eggs in the morning has become a lot spicer! Perfect add in to ground beef or morning eggs. The oil is light but flavorful. The experience of tasting was nice. Glad I went in and now have my yummy oil. The staff was one women in the front she was informative and very nice. I would recommend any one trying out the oils and choosing one. Until I need more! Very good location, store and product.

We come hear on a regular basis and do our quarterly stocking up on olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We have always been happy with their products and service. We obviously consider spending $30 on a bottle of olive oil a luxury. That being said, we expect to have luxury service. We were extremely disappointed today when we showed up 30 minutes before closing and were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. The person working stated she could get us what we needed right away if we knew what that was, but she HAD to close the store at 5pm. It was 430, and I don't know about you but I would have found it very difficult to taste vinegar and oils for 30 minutes. I can't say this visit will keep us from returning, but I hope that the business owner will discuss with the employees that service should be a TOP priority when you are selling a product that we can all surely live without!

A very helpful staff member made his knowledge easily accessible as I stumbled into my adventure of gourmet olive oil & balsamic vinegar; it should be noted that other gourmet oils & spices are available too. I am nearly certain everything is available to sample. All oils & vinegars are labeled with more information than I knew was useful to evaluate flavor. The metrics are present to help assess preferences or discover new variations to challenge the palate. There is a rewards program for frequent shoppers, buy 11 bottles and receive 12th free. 4 variations exist to trial products or commit to flavors. The smallest exists in a 6 piece gift variety pack or individually for more extended sampling; these 60 ml bottles can be selected for the gift pack on demand. The other available sizes are 200 ml and 375 ml bottles.

Had a great experience at ABQ olive oil company. Had 4 groupons to use and we're able to use all in one transaction. The owner Carol was very helpful and spent quite a bit of time helping choose oil and vinegar pairings. The staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. A great selection of gourmet oils and vinegars. Would definately come back.

I hit these guys up the other day since my husband got some of their olive oil from this years Baconfest. The garlic as well as the green chile infused oil is uh-mazing, so I definitely recommend those. Another one I recommend is the mushroom & sage, my LAWD! I scrambled and picked some up from them the day before Thankstuffing since I was making a portobello stuffing for the bird. Lemme tell you...that stuff brought out a more savory flavor of the mushrooms and added the hint of sage without having to physically add any to the mix. Other flavors I've tested out over time is the green Chile olive oil, white truffle olive oil, garlic olive oil and last but not least, the raspberry balsamic. All of them are amazing and I totally recommend their products, especially if you're an adventurous cook & love experimenting with flavors.

I brought my mother here because she loves olive oils and vinegars. I have been wanting to take her to one in Vegas but was ecstatic that there was one in Albuquerque. It's in a nice location and you can sample the oils before you purchase them. Can't wait for my next trip to get some more oils from this location.

This place just opened and we saw it on our way to the Grower's market. Really cool place! Gourmet oils and vinegars, with trays of bread and sample cups so you can try them all! We left with a garlic infused olive oil and a honey ginger infused vinegar. It's definitely pricy, but everything is gluten free, organic, and very delicious. They also recycle their bottles ($1 off if you recycle your bottle) and have a buy 12, get one free punch card. We will definitely be back.

This place is beautiful, has a large selection and is a total disappointment. Their extremely virgin olive oil is double to quadruple what we pay for truly world class olive oil. The second disappointment is that much of the oil is very old harvest, I saw one that was four years old. I know that some folks think that storing EVOO in airtight stainless containers makes them last forever but that is so totally not true. The internationally recognized age for a gourmet EVOO is at most 18 months (for your usage, obviously when you buy it you want a much fresher harvest). In Europe there is a movement to standardize what can be certified EVOO, an 18 month limit is one of the factors. The third disappointment was that the polyphenol count of all their EVOO is unusually low. Polyphenol count tells you how healthy the oil is for you, if you are buying EVOO for its health benefits then you want a polyphenol count that is 500 or above (I only buy EVOO that has a count in the 600 or 700 range). At these prices I expected to have a choice of freshly harvested EVOO (my regular supplier gets it to us within one to three months of harvest), that has the highest polyphenol count but that is just not what this place offers. There is a huge variety of flavored oils, which I find even more disappointing. Flavored oils are made from lower grades of olive oil (i.e. its not EVOO) so its price should be less than half of what EVOO goes for. You're much better off making your own rather than paying these inflated prices. The store itself is clean, well lit, nicely laid out in two rows. You can sample anything that you want, there is a sample bottle for every offering, which is in line with other gourmet EVOO shops across the country (in California we has these sampling stations almost 20 years ago, and their prices are half or better compared to these prices). There is nice music playing in the background and the odd display of jewelry that just does not belong there, but its otherwise a nice store. The only employee that was there (just after lunchtime) was very polite but otherwise not friendly nor terribly helpful. She acted more like we were interrupting her break and was not terribly happy to see us.Overall this visit was a bust, you can get better EVOO from a supermarket (they have been tested so I do know the harvest dates and polyphenol for the better brands) and pay a lot less. If you want a flavored oil then make it yourself with plain olive oil or again, just get it from a good supermarket.
