Very nice and knowledgeable staff that helped me answer a lot of questions that I had about jewelry. I feel like I got a good price for what I was selling and the process was fairly simple!

I had a wonderful and painless time selling my jewelries (gold) there. The place was nice, clean and professional and made me feel secured (not feeling shady) conducting transactions there.One of the goals I had was to live a bit more minimalist and less on things. Part of this was to rid as much burden as possible..and jewelries were one thing that were weighing me with worries e.g. where to keep/how to keep secured...when, as a person, I barely used them. I'm happy to say I finally got rid of my gold jewelries and feel weight free on it..and felt like a million bucks selling them at ABQ Gold & Silver Jewelry Exchange and not having to worry about keeping them anymore!The staff was kind, polite and provide good privacy/time for me to think htrough. They were also knowledgeable when looking at my gold and were able to identify the type of gold I had immediately...so I felt better knowing they know what they were doing.Overall, the process was pain-free, polite, and felt very legit/secured...and just simply..very professional. I would recommend this place as a place for gold transactions (sell/buy) for sure.

I had some stuff to sell. Jamie and Big Ed were wonderful. They gave me fair prices for my items. This is an upscale store, not some shoddy place that you are hesitant to be buzzed into. The items in the showcases are amazing. Even the huge Diamond eternity ring chandeliers make this place dazzle. I highly recoding business with this upscale business.

The folks at ABQ Gold and Silver are so knowledgeable, friendly and give information/education out freely! We will certainly purchase or sell more from them in the future and can highly recommend them for their experience and excellent customer service!

I would highly recommend the Albuquerque Gold and Silver jewelry exchange to have any jewelry repairs. I took two rings to get them repaired and they did an excellent job. One ring needed a diamond replaced and the other ring just needed prongs repaired. Both came back looking like new. They also have beautiful pieces of jewelry in the store. I will definitely be back!

Amazing place - seriously why would you go any other place??!!Ed Karler is very knowledgable, helpful, and super willing to work with you! Great place to sell your Jewelry but warning ... you will turn it around and find something to buy. Such beautiful and unique pieces. Vintage pieces are so gorgeous. If I was getting engaged, this is the place I would want my ring AND bands. What a GEM of a place ... lucky to have in ABQ!

I highly recommend this business. A few years back they fixed my wedding ring, the gold ring had worn thin, and a couple of prongs were missing. Ring looked like new when I picked it up. Recently I was taking my ring off and the diamond popped off. Took it back there to get it fixed, I went to pick it up. Ring looked like new again, but I noticed that one of the small baguettes on the side was missing, I hadn't noticed it before. The lady looked and apologized that they did not notice either. So, I left it there, it was going to be about $50 to fix it. My ring is about 24 years old.Got a call about 15 minutes later that they would fix it, replace the baguette, at no charge. Honest and fair people. I was so surprised but very happy to get that call. There is still integrity out there.

I'd visited this store about 5 times in the past 2 years plus. Initially I had some old memory gold and silver I no longer wish to keep. I got quotes from this place and a couple stores up or down the street... it's true that there's a similar store almost every corner within 3~4 blocks... well, how convenient for me to compare prices! This store not only is the cleanest, most organized but also inviting but not salzy. They gave me the highest dollars on the first few pieces I wanted to sell... needless to say, I'd been back since. Jackie had serviced me all my past visits except the most recent one when I picked up a repair item from owner Ed. He shared with me his future plans to purchase adjacent buildings and update the overall esthetics of the block. I'm all in for guys who make our city look more attractive! Chances come in the future to spend $$ on jewelries, I'd think of this shop first!

Seller beware!!!I took in a gold, silver, and copper bangle to sell. First, the woman claimed that the gold was brass. Next, she tested the gold, claiming it to be 18k when, in fact, it is 24k which is standard for these bangles and having sold one before, confirmed to be 24k gold.​Be sure to take your items to a place that knows what they're doing and aren't seeking to take advantage!
