This place is always a mess when I come. I was looking for some enoki mushrooms and they had it, but trying to communicate with the staff was a bit challenging. Plus trying to find the mushrooms was a bit of a booby trap lol I grabbed one package of the mushrooms and everything above it came falling down lol I find A-Ri-Rang Oriental Market on Eubank better organized and supplied. Plus great food at A-Ri-Rang.

Finally found a Korean market that had inventory of roasted corn tea. Only one was cold, but was able to buy more from the box ready to be shelved. $8.97 for 3 bottles. $2.99/bottle. They only had giant bottles of sriracha, only need a small bottle for the kimbap tonight. The kimbap here looks decent.

Great little Asian market with delicious Korean food tucked away in a strip mall. Several tables against one wall for lunch with a nice selection of choices. We enjoyed the Korean sushi rolls, seafood & Green Onion pancake, spicy tofu soup, and grilled mackerel. It was all delicious and worth coming back to enjoy again. They also have water, hot tea, and bottled beverages.

My husband and I were craving Korean food while coming back from our roadtrip, TN to San Diego. It's in a pretty sketchy location, but the food was great. I'm Korean and it was the appropriate amount of spicy for me. We got the Yukgaejang, soondubu, dukbukki, and gimbap. It definitely hit the spot for our cravings.

My go-to for frozen pre-cooked broiled eel. They also have lots of refrigerated packaged vegetables, frozen fish, sauces, condiments, on and on. A nice resource when I can't get to Talin Market or 999.

After watching some travel shows about Korean street food, I went on a hunt to find food worthy of a review. This 'restaurant' is nothing more than a 3 table hole in the wall inside a very friendly Korean supermarket. Asking the cashier/ owner if they serve food, she offered me the menu, and asked if I wanted to eat in or to go. I stayed, ordered the Spicy Squid (Medium spiciness) and she offered me tea and a seat. The food came, I snapped a quick pick as it was the perfect site. Not going to lie, I was so enthralled with eating it, I bit the inside of my cheek because I couldn't slow my rate of eating it! The tastes were on par with any of the familiar tastes of mom's cooking and for the price, along with amount, this place has me very happy and wanting to arrange another visit.Definitely go and don't be shy in talking to the cashier, she will help in more than one way, no matter which person you chat with.

Terrific little pan-asian market. Went once during our second lockdown, and again later in the pandemic. bot himes customers and emplloyees did what they could to distance and respect each other. great little spot for grabbing ramen, and dried mushrooms, and frozen potstickers and much much more.
