My 12 year-old Mazda was starting to have a few problems and normal wear needing replacement parts. After being taken for a ride by a few unsavory auto repair shops in the area with ludicrous quotes, I was so glad to find Greg and his team. This is a very honest business that doesn't try to Price gouge (take it from someone who received many, many quotes). They did a fantastic job on rebuilding my suspension, replacing my CV axles, and putting in new front and rear brakes, among other work. Seriously, I couldn't believe the night and day difference before and after I had the work done. It was like I was driving a new car. They officially have a customer for life (or at least, as long as I'll be in Albuquerque). I highly recommend them for your auto servicing needs.

I was selling my 2000 Toyota Sienna LE minivan when Lisa A. offered to buy it. I explained to her that the battery indicator light had recently begun to turn on and it would probably need an alternator, since I had just installed a brand new battery and the battery indicator light was still turning on. Van would stall and the new battery was not being charged. She said she would find a repair shop and have it diagnosed. She contacted Greg Baca at 2 men and a wrench who agreed to have it towed to his shop for diagnosis. After a couple of days, Mr. Baca contacted Lisa with his diagnosis, saying that it needed some wiring repaired or replaced. His initial estimate for towing, diagnostics and repair was nearly $800 dollars! I couldn't believe it. I told her that was outrageous and to not let him do the repairs because he was trying to rip her off. After going to his shop, he adjusted the estimate to $630 (appx.), and told her that she qualified for some kind of financing program, of which he is a 20% partner in. She had recently started a new job, needed reliable transportation and was running out of time to buy a vehicle, so she reluctantly agreed to the financing and told him to go ahead with the repairs. I felt like she was getting ripped off, but she didn't have much more time to find a car. Turns out she was right about Mr. Greg Baca. After promising to get started right away, saying it should be ready the next day,he kept the van for a week. I accompanied Lisa to pick up the van. Shortly after leaving his shop, the battery indicator light came on again, and the van began to stall. All symptoms of a bad alternator. We made it to her house, she contacted Mr. Baca again, explained what had transpired and he told her he would send his tow truck and promised that he "would get it fixed this time for sure." To my knowledge, the van never got towed and Mr. Baca never completed the repairs. After listening to Mr. Baca on the phone with Lisa afterwards, yelling at her, berating her, swearing and calling her derogatory names and lots more, I took the phone, explained who I was and the van was mine and that Lisa was just trying to get it repaired at a reasonable price. I told him that he was out of line, and asked him if he treated all of his customers this way. He then laid into me, swearing and yelling at me before I stopped him and explained that he should be very careful because I was not someone he wanted to tangle with. He was very irate and began to threaten me. I just hung up the phone. I was dumbfounded about the whole situation, which all in all seemed very strange to me. This type of interaction between business owners and customers is not normal, and Mr. Greg Baca is not what he seems. Sincerely, Paul A. Romero, Albuquerque, New Mexico

This is in addition to my review "Avoid like the plague" I received these texts from the owner the day he saw my review. I read part of his response and couldn't read the rest. This guy is dishonest, abusive and flat out lying about our initial conversation. He did ask me some personal questions when I took my old beater for repairs.. but never did we discuss anything like this. There is no abusive ex, the old van was purchased from my son's EX father in law. This guy is the face you would see in the dictionary under a sleazy dishonest mechanic. He kept the Van for days and never did any work to it.. charged me for work and repairs never done! I reported him, and played the phone calls I recorded to the finance company ( he told me he owned 20% of that finance company) the finance company called him caught him lying and forced him to nullify the charge. Of course that was after I had made my payments to them for a repair never made. The guy is a sleaze ball.. don't believe me?! Go see for yourself

Our motorhome had some engine issues and "Two Men" answered the call and came to our rescue at the local Loves travel center. They did a great job and were very courteous, they got us on our way. Unfortunately our engine was in much more dire straights than we first thought, Once again, "Two Men" were very helpful in assisting us in getting with a shop that was able to handle a much bigger issue. We had to finish the last 800+ miles in a rental truck, but we much appreciate the great help that Two Men and a Wrench provided to us in our time of need.

We had just traveled half way across the country and our car happened to break down right across the street from the shop. They were able to bring in the car within maybe 30 minutes if that and started working on it right away. Through the whole process they were very good about staying in touch with us regarding what they were doing with the car and what needed to be done. They worked with our insurance and with our previous mechanic to try to get records of what had been previously done as well as trying to find out if anything was under warranty to save us money. They were so patient and friendly though the whole process. They were able to diagnose what was wrong with the vehicle and confirm our suspicions about work that was done incorrectly by our previous mechanic. I couldn't be more grateful for Greg and Mike and the rest of the staff for working so hard for us. I'm moving across town and will still be driving all the way back any time my vehicles need repairs because these guys are worth it. Once again, thank you all so much!
