Albeto’s Taco Shop

This is always my go to taco shop. Just a couple of streets away and they never disappoint. When I'm feeling like tacos, I always go for their mini pollo asado tacos. SO good. But you can never go wrong with their carne asada fries. And their horchata is the best. Not too sweet, not too plain. And they have a selection of 3 hot sauces: green, red and extra hot (my favorite). The service is always good and fast. They're always nice and welcoming. The ambiance is chill, you can choose to eat and order either inside or from outside. If you're looking for a quick and fast stop for Mexican food, this is it.

always fresh, correct, and amazing..... literally our favorite local spot for years now (over 25)! sauces area all good, but the hottest is to die for carne fries, cali burrito, cheese quesadilla's, cheese enchiladas plate sooooo good horchata is super yum too! staffs always nice, place is always super clean to!

The food is delicious, service is exceptional and minimal wait. I especially like their Jamaica.

The food here is outstanding!Chimichanga combo (deep fried carne asada burrito) $11.99: delicious! Crispy tortilla, and tender citrus flavored beef...10/10. Spanish rice: tender and fluffy; which had a deep chicken broth and/or chicken bouillon flavor, 9/10.Refried beans: best I've had! Was creamy, and I didn't want it to end after the last bite, 10/10!Service was swift and friendly. The server hooked me up with tons of salsas.

This is my go to Mexican spot! Such a clean, polite, and chill space. I love how the food is fresh, the people are bilingual, and they are so quick to make my food! Two large Jamaica drinks and a #4 Breakfast Burrito ran me $17.58. They also give you green and red sauce on the house if you ask for it :)

So good! If you've ever eaten at Talavera Azul Restaurant on 3rd in Chula Vista - you know their chilequeas are bomb! No need to go there!! Come here instead! BOMB delicious!!

Was pleasantly surprised to like this place!! Parking is horrendous but if you're lucky to find a spot, the hassle is worth it. Had carne asada chips and requested LIGHT cheese... they actually listened and my very picky daughter gave them two thumbs up Personally asked for the usual "Surprise!" The meal didn't disappoint Not sure what I was served but it was heaven! Finally found our new local favorite spot

I got their Carne Asada burrito. It did not have any flavor. I don't recommend this restaurant.

From the warm greeting to the amazing food, I highly recommend this spot. We are on vacation from Northern Cali, and my wife is typically not a fan of Mexican food. Thank you Albeto's for helping me prove that it's all about the quality of the spot. Kudos to the chef! The chimichanga plate was lunch and dinner!

My husband and I went here on dec 25th and we asked if they had campechana fries and they said they could just make it for us. The place was really clean and workers were really friendly!
