Albert's Fresh Mexican Food

Excellent service, delicious tacos adobada complete with guac automatically, decor is a teensy bit kitsch but whatever. The only thing I'd change would be the country playing but I guess I gotta understand that it's Lakeside lol. Picture is of one taco, btw. Two was nearly too much for me!

The alexadilla is a California burrito wrapped in a quesadilla and you can clearly tell it is a quesadilla which I loved. It wasn't overly loaded with just fries. There was a good mix of everything inside. The meat wasn't SUPER flavorful but overall the burrito was good. The red and green hot sauces were both very good and had nice flavor. The girl who took my order was so nice and personable and definitely wanted to make sure you got what you wanted. Inside was very clean and the had seating for to-go orders that wouldn't take up the seating for people trying to eat there. The music was a notch louder than I would prefer but not unbearable. I will definitely go back to try some of the other items on the menu.

Food is alright here at this location. Depending which cashier you get you might get a side of attitude with it. The employee cashier was the one that mainly ruined the experience for me here. The noise level on a Friday night was little loud. I probably won't be back to this location again. I will go to the Rancho San Diego location like usual.

Albert's is my favorite Mexican restaurant in our area. The service is excellent & the food always tastes good. You order at the counter. If you dine in they provide chips & salsa. I usually get the rolled tacos w/guacamole. I have had the carne asada street tacos & they are good. This place is clean & just a nice casual atmosphere.

First time trying this place. Ordered carne asada burrito with beans and sour cream. I have to say it is nearly perfect. The main issue is the amount of liquid that leaks out during consumption. Otherwise the burrito is excellent. One of the best I've had since moving back to San Diego. Will definitely return for rolled tacos and the 2 in 1 burrito.

This is our go to spot. Rosia is always so sweet and knows our orders. She was also super helpful tonight when we needed some plain shredded chicken for our pup. The food is great and we haven't found another taco shop that compares.

Casiele (might not have spelled that right ) and the rest of the team here always have the best customer service and the food here is always amazing. Highly recommend.

We love Albert's lakeside! It's been our fav Mexican shop for 5 years! Rocilo is always so friendly and notices when part of our family is missing. Everything is good-best rolled tacos in town. Would definitely would recommend Albert's!

We eat here often and the food is always so good. Rocio is so friendly and always asks how everyone is doing and makes sure we have everything we need. The staff puts effort into knowing their customers and remembering their orders. They always support our community and our kids sports. They make any accommodations to our orders and always have great recommendations if we want to change it up. We have loved anything we have ever ordered! If we call in the order, it's usually only about a 15-20 minute wait. Definitely a great place with many healthier options!

Do NOT go to the Lakeside location. I ordered 3 small chicken rolled tacos with rice and beans and 3 big potato rolled tacos. When I saw the order, there were 3 chicken mini tacos by themselves and 3 big chicken rolled tacos with rice and beans. I ended up throwing the food away. It was $19.76 for everything, what a waste of money. I called back to explain the issue, but they said they got confused since their menu doesn't have small rolled tacos when it actually does. I will only go to the Rancho San Diego location from now on since they know what they're doing, are not confused, and understand how to resolve problems.
