I loved ordering fish from Lake Superior from this store. The customer service was great, and they packaged the fish in a way that I don't have to do a thing except put it in the freezer. Great place to shop. Great selection. I will definitely go back and send others.

I am originally from the east coast and am still a seafood-holic deep down inside. But I now live in AZ...AK Pride reminds me of my childhood- One single counter that's is also a fish case- A chalkboard w/ what they currently have in stock- People who know what the hell they're talking about when you run across a fish you've never cooked or even heard ofIt's not cheap to enjoy quality seafood in the desert so I'm very glad to have AK Pride in my neighborhood to remind me why it's worth it

Pricey...but seriously worth it! Even the fresh frozen freezer is so much better than most other local options.

Did a search for fresh seafood markets in the Valley and Alaskan Pride was one of the first ones to come up. I'm still trying new stuff on my new smoker and really wanted to give salmon a try. I absolutely love salmon, but wanted something fresh and wild caught. I mean, that farm-raised junk you find at Costco or any supermarket just isn't real salmon. It just isn't. My wife and I drove here this afternoon after work from Peoria. It's a convenient location not too far from the 51 off Indian School Rd. Super clean parking lot, very clean entrance and a small space that does not smell fishy at all. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and it's obvious as a small business, they care about their customer base.Unfortunately, they did not have any fresh salmon in the display case. :( BUT I did walk out with a wild-caught (but frozen) chunk of King Salmon and a chunk of Sockeye. Their frozen selection is still impressive with a vast array of seafood you're not going to find at Fry's or Safeway. I intend to put the salmon I got from them on my smoker tomorrow, but I have no doubt it will be tasty! The coloring of the fillets are awesome and do not at all smell fishy. Despite being frozen, they look amazing. They're not at all freezer burnt and look as though they went from the boat right to the freezer. I am looking forward to dinner tomorrow!I would not at all hesitate to recommend Alaskan Pride if you're interested in obtaining some awesome wild-caught seafood! Obviously, you get what you pay for so if you're looking for something fresh and/or wild-caught, this is your place to be. Thanks for the fillets and I shall be back!

My boyfriend and I visited here to buy oysters and yellowtail. They have a good variety of seafood. I do recommend their selection. However, we were disappointed most recently for two reasons. First, a customer walked in without a mask. The female employee didn't say anything. The space is very small, so I felt uncomfortable. Second, the employee was in a bad mood. She wasn't friendly at all. We walked away upset. It's possible she was just having a bad day, but she really didn't want to be there and made our experience more unpleasant. I'd like to go back still to support them.

A bit upset I drove all the way from Buckeye to get good quality fish and Yelp recommended this spot just for the business not to update their holiday hours and for me to find the business closed this Sunday. Pretty bummed my sushi now will be not premium. Hope this business does better next time for those that have to drive many miles for good fish.

Wow, is their customer service OUT OF THIS WORLD and so are their products. I called a while back asking about fish carcasses for making stock. They continue to call me with updates when they get fresh fish directly from Alaska in the store.Recently I got such a call and I was able to finally drop into their store and see the stunning array of fresh fish in their deep freezers. Then they brought out my carcass for the stock and it had never been frozen, literally FRESH off the boat in Alaska and flown to Arizona. Unbelievable this is even something we can get in the desert.I recommend them 100%. Where else are you going to get wild caught ocean fish in the middle of the desert that's never been frozen. If you're thinking about it, just do it!

Great place to get quality seafood. They also have homemade pasta, bbq sauces and local honey

I'm so lucky to have this amazing place in my neighborhood! Been there a few times, on one of my trips there I was lucky enough to get the fresh halibut they were cutting up on the back room. Service is great and they will give suggestions on how to cook a fish if your not familiar with it, all I can say is give it a try!!
