We have ordered from here twice in the last couple weeks, and if I had the extra spending cash, I'd order much more often. We've tried the deluxe plate with the lamb & beef, the gyro chicken, the chicken shawarma, and a falafel gyro. 10/10 across the board. The turmeric rice (I think that's what it is) is always perfectly cooked, the little side salads are well proportioned with super fresh veggies. The flavor of everything is amazing and the doneness of the meats and the falafel were perfect, even after being packed togo and delivered. Their pita bread was also absolutely fire. Oh! I don't wanna forget the hummus! Sooooooo creamy. Unreal. The baklava is also wonderful, but be aware the pistachio one is more of a bite-sized portion. Definitely give this place a shot! Prices are well worth the quality and quantity of the food.

This is a second location for Al Bacha with the original being in Seattle. I ordered the lamb gyro and it was delicious. It came with fries and a drink. I like that the meal was around 15$ and relatively quick. They stay open until around midnight on the weekends so would definitely be a great spot for a late night snack after a few drinks at the many nearby bars. The inside has seating for approximately 18 people, I ordered to go so wasn't able to really rate their service. Over all if you're in the mood for a gyro of falafel I recommend this place.

Some of the best falafel I've had in Washington! But more than anything, their quality is consistent, this is what keeps me coming back!

Located just up from the Firefighter's park in Tacoma, this little shop produces some excellent food at a reasonable pricetag. It is rare to find any place which can fill you up for under $20 including tip, but here it is. With a friendly staff and quick service, it is ideal for a lunch break and enjoy the sunshine while chowing down on some schwarma.

Great price, tasty, and filling! Ordered through Uber and everything came as ordered (no styrofoam too!). Good to see a more authentic option in Tacoma now. They even had harissa sauce which has honestly been hard to find at other places around here. I got the Albacha Falafel Sandwich and Greek Fries. This was plenty! The sandwich was super good and the falafel was crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Greek fries were just right, not undercooked or soggy! My picture doesn't do the sandwich justice but TRUST, it was good!

I'm SO happy this opened in Tacoma! We went last night and it truly hit the spot! We've been missing the flavors of well prepared Mediterranean food since moving here. We found a place that's a 30 min drive, but to then have Al Bacha open up and be 10 minutes away is fantastic! We ordered chicken shawarma platters, mixed kabab (with chicken and lamb), stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and baklava. It was all delicious and nicely plated. The restaurant is casual and you order and pay at the counter. They also offer a variety of beverages including Mango Lassi and salty lassi (aka yogurt drink). The staff is friendly and efficient. I also overheard the staff telling a patron that they will be expanding their hours til 10p which is great since restaurants here tend to close on the earlier side. Do yourself a favor and check them out asap! Your mouth will thank you!

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with lentil soup. First let me start off by saying I have had chicken shawarma many times from different places and sometimes it's made with ground chicken, which I hate.. this was not one of those places, perfect! It was delicious! The lentil soup was something I've never had before and I can attest it is delicious! Very creamy and lemony. I highly recommend this place :)

they should be ashamed of themselves for serving this food.went there at 8pm on a saturday, spent a lot of money on old, dried out pieces of lamb that were charred black on the outside. no amount of sauce could disguise the disgusting, chewy, gritty texture of this dish.their chicken shawarma was equally bad, dry, flavorless, with absolutely no attention to tradition or quality.they claim to be a turkish restaurant. i've been to turkey, but there is nothing served there anything like this mediocrity. come on. if you're really turkish, show a little pride, and show the people of tacoma what an excellent cuisine they have over there.if not, please shut your doors. the last thing this city needs is more overpriced, desultory fast food.

Al Bacha is a newer restaurant that opened in downtown Tacoma. I kept forgetting to go here for a while but finally did remember a few Fridays ago to give it a try.I did a take out order for a lamb gyro and that went pretty well. It wasn't long before my order was ready. The gyro itself was good. Ingredients were fresh and the meat was tasty. It made for a very good lunch.I didn't realize just how much salt was in the gyro though as later on I got thirsty for water and had several glasses of it during work which isn't quite a routine for me. I will make an order here again however but perhaps will try their hummus sometime.
