Arrived on a chilly weekday evening for some comforting ramen. We were welcomed quickly and then told to grab an open table. The space could be better laid out to allow for more customers. The business was consistently busy for the time we were there. We were able to order pretty soon. We ordered the Takoyaki, and I got the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen while my friend got the California Ramen. Both arrived quickly. The flavor was just ok. The noodles themselves were underwhelming, and the broth was lukewarm. The Takoyaki were interesting, I preferred those over the ramen. Probably a taste preference for me, though my friend also agreed on the flavor. The staff member was friendly, and the prices were reasonable, they do a decent happy price too on appetizers and drinks. Plenty parking in the area.

Stopped in here with my mom and son and when we walked in at 11:30 we had to wait a sec to have somebody come out but the service was quick and responsive once they knew we were there. The spicy Ramen was good. I really don't have anything to complain about at all it is a, typical hole in the wall place and the service was quick. I would go back to try more items.

Amazing Raman! Our favorite in the area. Everything is homemade! The place is def a holeA in the wall kind of place and often those are the best!

Definitely not up to standards of some of the other places around us. Silverlake is loads better and few min away. The tonkotsu shoyu wasn't very creamy and actually super bland. The chashu was just average and the egg was disappointing. Not enough seasoning and actually kinda tasted a bit sour. Partner liked the spicy broth and it had a bit of sourness to it and sesame and smoke that he was okay with. He said it was bordering good unlike my shoyu. Also ordered some karate to share and the breading is not what we expected and it was dripping in oil when it came to the table. The sauce was like a unagi eel sauce or something. Very heavy and sweet. Overall, not what I expected for a 4star in yelp. It might be hard though because it was in this super dark center and had like nobody in there when we walked in.

I enjoyed the ramen and ambience of this establishment! Service was nice. The spicy ramen was flavorful for me I would say I'm not a fan of the egg but everything else was delicious

Grabbed lunch with my wife, our first time stopping in. Very friendly service and pretty busy. We bite had two different ramen dishes and both were very tasty. I'm by no means an ramen aficionado, but we liked.

Good spicy ramen. Hit the spot.Located in the center with Starbucks. Easy parking. It is close to Dough Zone but on the opposite side of the strip mall. Google maps doesn't quite take you to the right spot. You have to go around the strip mall to get here.

I think we were here around 3pm so no line whatsoever. Food is okay , it's possible that I'm used to an even more savory broth. But the overall the ramen is good. The waitstaff was also fine. This is more like a hole in the wall type of ramen place.

Akane Ramen is my favorite spicy ramen in the Puget Sound. I have tried many ramen places, and this one has the best flavor. We got the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, Spicy Tan Tan Ramen, and deep-fried Gyoza. The Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen was delicious, but other options in the Puget Sound are better or just as good. Like I said earlier, the Spicy Tan Tan Ramen was the best I ever had! Finally, the Gyoza was crispy and good, but it is hard to mess it up. Overall, the service was excellent. The restaurant is tiny and suitable for a cheap night out; it is not fine dining. The food was yummy, and I would go again.

Cozy little ramen spot! We stopped here for dinner last night and it was our first time trying it out. We ordered the gyoza for an appetizer and the tonkatsu shoyu ramen and the spicy tan tan ramen for our entrees. We enjoyed the food! My broth was a tad too watery but had good flavor. The food came out very quickly too. The service was great. The lady helping us was so sweet, helpful, and attentive. For ambiance, it's a casual spot that feels homey. Great spot if you're looking for a quick and casual bite!
