AJ's Espresso

I love it here! I was extended a true act of kindness. I'm not from the island and didn't know this place only accepts cash and check-- I only had my card. The young man working there was so, so nice and said I could come back any time, and gave me the drink for free. I truly appreciated it, and sent them a check as soon as I got home. Thank you!

They have some terrific muffins and snacks. And the most incredible locally made kombucha, if you're lucky enough to get there before it's gone. Friendly service. Convenient drive thru.

I get my americano here then stop at the bakery for a croissant! They serve the best coffee on the island, by far, and Sarah is such a delight!

Um.. I ordered an americano and a drip.. and both were pretty terrible. The drip was all water and just bitter, no actual coffee taste if that is even possible. The americano was diluted with cream and sugar and still pretty bad. Come on now.. please get better beans and teach your baristas how to make coffee. At minimum try the coffee. And then understand why I got mad by paying $9 for that plus a gas station danish. Horrible...

I've been a long time fan of this stand for many years, but today's double tall left me wondering if the owner switched coffee vendors to save money. it tasted terrible, like Folgers bad.I hope they get it right again.it's all about the quality, and would hate to see that go away.

I really love the coffee here because it was roasted on Vashon Island in Dilworth by @vashoncoffee!!

Cute little place! I've been here a couple times during my stay on Vashon. They have a couple little treats but nothing like muffins or morning snacks. I tried a latte the first day (it was okay), an americano the second and third time which was better than the latte but I think there was too much cream added. Not a bad little place for an espresso, maybe just be super specific on your drink order preferences as to not have it over done.
