If you do not have the capability to offer your guest the full experience close to closing time, do not seat them. If you are going to hurry them and make them feel unwelcome regardless of that is your intention or not, do not seat them. I love that I spent $101 for a less than normal experience. It just exudes greed, not customer service.

This used to be a regular place for us, but they seem to be under a new management now and things are different. Food, employees and services We ordered three rolls; three times last - my son (12yrs) liked it, the rolls were a little uneven but okay, Exit 18 roll - this was a new one for us - deep fried partially but I mostly tasted the cream cheese. The rolls were on the bigger size so a little difficult to eat. The Eldorado - was a cleaner and leaner roll, I did enjoy this. But none of the rolls were memorable. Predictable place for weekday dinner though.

The caterpillar roll had a great taste with the avocado on top and crab on the inside. I really enjoyed the creativity from the chef in his/her adaptation of the the caterpillar creating some eyes and colorful toppings on the roll. I thought the double d roll was ok, but it tasted a little dry to me. I don't fault the restaurant on this at all as I misread the menu. I thought it would have more in it beside a double serving of fish. The service was extremely quick and professional. I think the restaurant would be a great place for a chill Sunday afternoon date.

Looks like the heyday for Aji Sushi is over. The good news is that there's no wait and the food is just as good. The service and Sushi Chef doesn't have the same gusto as pre pandemic days. The food still looks amazing.

Service was impeccable. The mid tier score was for cost vs quality. The deep fried one tasted super fishy. We couldn't figure out what was going on as it was just a spicy tuna filling. I think the culprit was pretty old frying oil used for sushi and fish alike. It tasted really salmon-y. To the point that we were nervous we might get sick from it. Which we did not. The tuna maki rolls were tasty but coming in at the cost of a fancier roll at different locations. Generally you expect the cost of those basic rolls to be in the single digits. Gyoza, simple tuna maki, spicy tuna, and an elaborate fried roll came out to over fifty bucks after tip. Which would be fine if the attention to quality was a bit higher. I should caveat that we went on a Sunday night meaning the seafood order was probably towards the end of it's lifespan.

My favorite placeeee. They are all decorated for Christmas, and the place is beautiful! Definitely noticed the prices going up since the last time I was here but this is hands down my favorite sushi in Washington so it's worth it. Service was great per usual, I got a to-go order today and I noticed a bag fee which was interesting too. But todays roll was the Salmon Mania (my favorite) with seared salmon and it was delicious!

Yay!!! Happy to find another great sushi place in the neighborhood.Food was delicious. We were served with miso soup on seating. Green tea is complimentary. Sushi was fresh and solid. Chicken teriyaki came with a salad and rice. It was spicy and tasted great!Service was good too. The servers checked on us regularly. The order came in no time. We were pleasantly surprised since we had two little kids with us.Parking is ample too. You have dedicated parking lot plus road side parking. All in all fantastic place to dine in. Both thumbs up from me !!

Came here for lunch today and sashimi was very fresh. $28 set lunch for the sashimi set which was very reasonable. Our server was very friendly and upon arrival everyone was offered a free bowl of miso soup and hot towels to wipe our hands which I thought was a nice touch. Place is clean, decor is modern, love cozy restaurant.

At first I was a bit skeptical, given it is a sushi restaurant in the middle of the suburbs. It is a nice and clean restaurant. I will say when dining in, the experience was better than any other sushi restaurants I have been to. Right when you are seated, they offered complimentary hot towels (to wipe your hands) and miso soups (that are amazingly good). We're big fans of seared salmon nigiri and it is a typically what we order when eating sushi, I can say that they were spot on! Good size pieces of quality fish. With the right amount of sauces. And the presentation was great! The food was pretty quick as well. Their service was friendly. Apart from their dine in experience, I have also ordered a bulgogi and California rolls to go. Still exceeded expectations, and was delicious! 10/10 would highly recommend!
