Food Ambiance Service - got better after we spoke. Went to see the "Shameless" house from the TV series, and this place wasn't far. There was a little confusion finding the place, not because of the location, but because of the name. Ahuevo and Mi Tierra are one and the same. Anyway, greeted, and seated right away, and that's when the one and only issue came up. It seemed as if we were forgotten for a few minutes before I had to get up and speak to someone that we are still waiting to be seen. After that everything went well. I would definitely come back here!

Quite simply the best breakfast sandwhich I've had in Chicago. Note: it's a ghost kitchen but they have signs posted outside of Mi Tierra.

We did the Ahuevo Scrambled Egg Sandwich, I added bacon and my husband had sausage. The scrambled eggs are delicious, the sriracha mayo is the perfect touch! The only complaint is it's a little messy because it's very buttery so the wrapper is a little too greasy.Also get the iced coffee if you like sweet drinks. It's your typical sweet Mexican coffee :)Pick up is a little confusing because it's inside the restaurant, but the staff was super welcoming and nice. (When you walk in, go to the left by the bar, orders will be there).Definitely coming back to try other items from their menu!

These breakfast sandwiches were full of flavor and very filling. They can get very messy while you are eating them but they do a wonderful job at packaging them up for take-out orders. It was a bit confusing to find where to order because it is inside the Mi Tierra restaurant. When you walk in, go to the left and there will be menus for you to order from. We had to ask employees twice because we didn't know where to go and they were extremely kind and helpful. Definitely a place to take out from because there was not much of an eating-in environment for the Ahuevo orders.

Another gotdamn ghost kitchen. Seems as if I haven't learned my lesson but I was desperate & hangry. The initial bite of the tots was surprising as it tasted good however the majority of the dish was extremely salty. Ordering the sandwich was weird because via their website you can order a sandwich solely with turkey sausage however when placing my order via Uber eats you had to choose a sandwich then add turkey meat to it. Said turkey tasted like a fish sponge btw. Twas dry to say the least.

This food was so good that I ate on it all day!I ordered the Scrambled Egg Sandwich with sausage and tater tots. First, the packaging was GREAT! A lot of times, food delivery comes just wrapped in paper and thrown in a plastic bag. Not this food, though. The sandwich was STACKED with scrambled eggs. They were fluffy, creamy, and well-seasoned. The cheddar cheese literally covered every inch of the eggs, so I was able to get everything all in 1 bite. And what a delicious bite it was, especially on the buttery, toasted bun.The tater tots were also well-seasoned, and the Sriracha mayo gave them the right amount of kick. My boyfriend and I regularly doordash Ahuevo as a weekend breakfast treat. Their iced coffee is delicious!! Absolutely perfect ratio of cream to sweetness and just generally good coffee. We've tried their burger, their ahuevo breakfast sammy (the usual) and you cannot miss out on the guava + white chocolate cookie. Can't recommend this place enough! (we just called and scared the crap out of one of the staff members to tell them we love their coffee so i needed to make sure to leave a review)

There is no arguing how amazing the food is but I really want to highlight how amazing the customer service is. Found them on TikTok as somewhere to try but came back because the service was just great. Not just a spot focused on presentation (even though theirs is amazing) They have a regular in me.

We got our food take out and we live about 15-20 min. The fact that it was wrapped perfectly and the food was still warm was. Good in itself. Those sandwiches were delicious and filling. Surprisingly it only being $10 was worth every penny. We will be back.

I don't eat pork and have trouble finding places that have other meat options for breakfast burritos. Ahuevo has a turkey sausage option so we decided to give it a try. The burrito is massive and absolutely delicious! My partner got the pork sausage burrito and loved it as well. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and everything came in these tidy little boxes. They even gave us two free cookies . Will definitely be ordering again!
