Ahnala Mesquite Room

Have now eaten there a couple of times and both time have really enjoyed my meal. The fruit is fresh. The spicy sausage I got on my skillet is excellent. They offer seat in an patio setting that is actually indoors so it is really nice.Staff is friendly my only complaint which I didn't reflect in the review because during our first visit as soon as we were done eating a member of service staff removed our dirtly dishes from the table and we could enjoy our coffee without having to look at them.On our second visit we were left with the dirty dishes even though the restaurant was empty and it was a weekday. I think it is a pet peeve of mine and not every server removes the dirty plates so I won't reflect it in the review.

We were heading into fountain hills for breakfast when we discovered the renovated Fort McDowell casino, so we stopped by... and were still there lol!Walking through all the beautifully decorated resort, I discovered Ahnala, looked over the menu and the staff were very helpful when discussing allergies. So we decided to stay for breakfast.We sat "outside" in the main atrium of the hotel. The best restaurant oatmeal I've had, fluffy, moist, tasty and big servingThe selection of breakfast is huge, fully customizable and priced very reasonably. Service was quick, coffee good and staff were very attentive with refills and clearing dead dishes away. We will be back

Top shelf breakfast! The service is was attentive. Everyone was happy. I had the Ahnala breakfast and it exceeded my expectations. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the breakfast potatoes were spot on. The atrium is beautiful with the sparkling tile floors and the whimsical bubble chandeliers. I would definitely return.

Today we both got the ribeye with the baked potato and asparagus with the Wekopa Cabernet Sauvignon.My husbands steak was a little fatty but the manager made it right! All in all food and service here are superior! Ask for Blanca! She is a kind server and always consistent.

My sister and I have visited the ahnala a couple times while starting the night at Wekopa resort. The good is very good but the service is even better. We had not been in a couple of years and Marcos, our previous server from a few years back, recognized us and was very happy to see us. It's nice to see familiar faces and their excitement when you come back to visit. We will be back!

Quick Lunch was great and service is top notch. I had the Chicken BLT and my cohort had the strawberry farm salad. Both presentations were visually appealing and tasted good. Amy and Marco are friendly and attentive.

Ahnala Mesquite Room is the house restaurant at the We-Ko-Pa Resort Hotel. You won't actually find it in the hotel, but inside the Conference Center building.The big main dining room has a hardwood floor and pastel colors for the furniture plus Indian prints for accent here and there.My lunch was a Cabo Salad with Shrimp https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/ahnala-mesquite-room-fort-mcdowell?select=w5cgHOurJtj4zTcweJa1fw for $14.95. Go take a look at it, I thought it was one of the most gorgeous plates I've ever had served to me. Strawberries, raspberries, cubed watermelon, blueberries, cheese and grilled shrimp over a bed of greens. The fruit was perfect -especially the watermelon. Too bad I wasn't a fan of the three grilled shrimps- they were overcooked and dry.My glass of Passionfruit Iced Tea ($4), recommended by our wonderful server Ann Marie was very good.Lunch for four (two entrée salads, two Buffalo Mozzarella plates, two soft drinks and two of those teas) ran us $70.63.

Food was amazing and the staff were very nice! Would definitely recommend! We ate there in the mornings and then ordered room service from them. Everything was fantastic.

Zero stars if I could! We walked in at 1:30 pmWaited at the host station for 5 minutes. no one was around! About 5 minutes later, a girl named Star walked us to the table. We barely sat down. She rushed us to order! We told her we haven't looked at the menu yet! She left 2 minutes later she took our order! It took twenty minutes for our food to arrive! We had no service of any kind after that. Then, another server asked us to check out! We didn't even get our bill! Star, came back with our check and told us to pay at the host stand. This is at 2:15pm. While we were waiting to pay our check, we heard them tell a customer they had already closed. They close at 2 pm. Wish Star would have told us that we would have gone elsewhere with better service and not felt so rushed!
