Our neighborhood sushi joint. The servers are attentive and the food is consistent. Yes there are times when the rice is over cooked, but the fish is not disappointed..The inside has TVs on walls and above the bar. At times the music is good, it's a hit and miss. Overall for neighborhood sushi, can't complain.

I don't go here often but when in the area I'll stop bye and grab some yummy Sushi. Their prices are great and they have a section of delicious rolls that are always 50% off. If you order to go always ask for your extra sauces as that is limited unless you ask. Plus, you can sit down and eat in their large spacious dining room. It sits in the plaza of Smart & Final right off the 125 & El Cahon behind Taco Bell. Definitely worth trying this place out. NOTE* they do close for an afternoon break at 2:30 but open back up at 4: for dinner. Bon appétit!

An easy to get to place that's affordable, great for the kids, and clean. The quality is good for the price and there are a ton of options, vegan or otherwise. While not the fastest servers, they definitely work to make a connection with their customers to ensure you get what you want.

My new favorite local sushi spot. The have a nice extensive menu with options like hand rolls, specialty rolls, noodles, entrees, ramen and even curry. My trip I had yakiudon and a couple different rolls. It was all delicious! The staff was friendly, the food was spot on and it was very well priced. So many sushi places seem to be way too expensive these days but this place isn't one of them. If you're in La Mesa and want some great sushi, come to Ahi Sushi and Grill!

prices are misleading. "50% off" for avergae sushi rolls listed $8 so 50off should have been 4$. BSS. nobody is charging $20 for cali rolls. sooo shove ur " specials" where sun dont shine. food was mediocre at best. never buying here again. stingy as hell too. u get charged 50 cents for two two miserable lemon wedges! stingyyyyyytheir salmon and eel tasted old too.

I should've known this place would not be good when I walked in on a Saturday evening and it was empty. We got the Alaskan roll, crispy beef, orange chicken, chicken lo mein, and an egg drop soup. Total cost was $70 which I find is ridiculous. But I will let that pass because this was our first time coming here. And it is our last. The orange chicken tasted like ketchup chicken. It was a bright red color and tasted nothing of citrus. Literally tasted like a sweet sticky ketchup. But not taste good. I really wish I had photos of the food, but I forgot to take any. There was barely any chicken in the loan main and we found several pieces of bone in the chicken. The Alaskan role was a tempura shrimp fried roll. It was a 15 minute drive home, but by the time we got home, it was completely soggy and was not well put together. The crispy beef was probably the better of the stuff we had but again it tasted soggy and was not very crispy. Also, I was not a fan of the egg drop soup wire their peas in there and carrots.
