First of all, let's give props to whoever named this place. Genius. We have been meaning to go here since it is literally walking distance from our house. The interior is small but very quaint, bright and clean. Our server was very nice, attentive and answered our many questions about the food. We ended up trying two lunch specials and I really wanted to try their chicken fried rice. The food was really good and we felt it was a good value for the price. The fried rice was good and a huge portion but a little dry and they were very generous with the chicken in it. Some of the rice was too hard. My wife liked the lunch specials that we split and the egg drop soup was really hot and delicious. We were very happy with our lunch and glad we finally tried this place. A couple gripes that being the score down was, I was disappointed that I only got one can of soda when I ordered a diet coke instead of a fountain drink with refills. Also, the air conditioning wasn't working very well and we were hot while we ate. However besides these complaints we will return when we are in the mood for a good value Chinese meal!

Two of us ate in for lunch on a Wednesday. Two other tables occupied. I would describe the interior as small and sparse but clean. Servers were nice. Not a lot of variety for lunch and regular menu. Lunch was $12.99 without the drink. They do not serve a hot pot of tea. One of us had the lunch the other a full dinner order at $2 more. Not much difference between the two. Quality and taste was just ok. Equal small bowls of rice with meals. Who scrimps on rice? The soup, wontons, and chicken egg rolls were not good neither was the dipping sauce. It was $41 with the tip. Not very good food not a good bargain. There are numerous and better restaurant options in the neighborhood at that price point.Too bad cuz I was looking for a great takeout place closer to home.

I got a few dishes to go for a late lunch/early dinner for my first time here. Firstly, the Wor Wonton Soup, which I always order anytime i go out for Chinese food. They didn't skimp on the won tons, meat or the veggies which I appreciate! I do wish the broth had more seasoning, as the broth was a little flavorless. The won tons were also a little dense. However, I would still order this again (especially when someone is sick or it is cold out) but just hope they think about adding salt to the broth. The house fried rice was a hit in our house! We wouldn't change anything and would order this again.

I've never had an unpleasant experience here. The food is quickly prepared and served exactly how you would expect it. The ambiance is a little sparse. It's quiet and the staff is friendly and welcoming. To be honest I usually prefer to take it to go and have had a nice meal each time

Been meaning to update my favorite usual dishes from here:For takeout: House Special Beef - yum! It doesn't have veggies (and I love veggies), but the green onions just brings out the flavor of this dish.Kung Pao Trio - comes with chicken, shrimp and bbq pork but I usually have them omit it as I typically don't eat pork and it has my veggies. For dine in:Broccoli beef (my all time favorite dish ever since I was a kid; I also add snow peas with an up charge - can't help it, it's one of my other favorite veggie)Triple Delight when I'm craving the white garlic sauce (has shrimp, scallops, and chicken and veggies)Salt and pepper shrimp and honey walnut shrimp for the other half, his favorites along with the cream cheese rangoonsGeneral beef when I'm craving a little crispy with general sauce. Yes, we love to eat and happy I don't have to drive to Scottsdale for good Chinese food!

We tried this place tonight and had high hopes for good food. We were very disappointed. Not only did it cost $75 for three of us to order takeout but then they asked for a tip which I always give, but didn't appreciate being asked. Ordered house lo mein, had very bland taste. Also had hot and sour soup which was not at all spicy but also lukewarm. Generals chicken is supposed to be spicy, it wasn't and was very bland. Egg fu young was the weirdest thing, also same very bland taste. Actually all the food tasted like it had same sauce on it. We ended up tossing the whole meal out. What an expensive disappointment
