Agua Verde Cafe

My friends and I have been going to this location since I kept hearing co-workers talk about this place (since my undergrad days at UW). (Or really, I take my new friends here.) On a nice sunny day, I highly recommend the covered patio! Beautiful view of the water.Great drinks, flavorful food, and a salsa bar! Honestly, lots of people will say this place is Mexican food catered to white people (probably true) but it's still good. Prices are $$$$ (definitely a reason it's not getting 5 stars) e.g. guac and chips for $9. The staff that I've had have all been young and energetic people.

Carnitas TacoWhen dining in everything after ordering at the front is self service.Nice view outside of the river and pretty breezy.The beans are pretty bland and watery so I would suggest going for the chips as a side instead.Tacos itself were okay, enjoyed the sauce on top.

I absolutely love this place! When I had my first class in South Campus, I was initially mad because it's so far from my other classes. But now I'm grateful bc it allowed me to discover this gem of a place!The food is so fresh tasting and I absolutely love the rockfish tacos! The service staff are always so friendly and welcoming! The location is absolutely beautiful overlooking the marina. One thing I will note is that you shouldn't expect the food to be spicy, even the spiciest salsa is not that spicy, but it's an amazing spot to get fresh tasting food without the strain on your stomach you'd have with spicier Mexican food!Definitely a spot I recommend for almost any occasion!

Cool spot! I think I would have enjoyed it more if I sat out on the deck. It was insanely busy for a Thursday night. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. I got the carnitas burrito in a bowl. The meat was really good. The cheese was definitely cheese meant to be rolled in a burrito, it didn't translate well to the bowl imo. And they have 3 salsa options which is fun. I found this restaurant really expensive for the type/quality of food.

This is my go-to spot in Seattle. I've lived in UD for going on 12 years, and this is my favorite place that I recommend to friends all the time. After work meeting? I go here. Drinks with friends? Here. Food is great, the drinks are strong and fun, and the service is always excellent. Bonus points for the fun ambiance, amazing view, and great seating options. I also love the salsa bar. Will continue to frequent this spot.

Love this place! It's within easy walking distance from work and, despite the ever-present line out the door, is fairly easy to get a table at-as long as you don't mind sitting outside!Don't be deterred by the line, a lot of those folks are ordering to go. Definitely plan to stay and enjoy a your meal at least once. Sit outside on a warm, sunny day and enjoy the watercraft cruising by. Bring your shades because it can get bright!I opted for the Veggie Boniato burrito bowl on my last visit and was extremely happy with the bold flavors.I look forward to my next sunny afternoon here!

From the exterior to the interior, Agua Verde is definitely a vibe.When you first enter the restaurant you order right away! This is perfect if you just want a quick eat to takeout or if you're sitting in like I normally do, wait a bit for your food while you get the different salsas they offer to eat with it. I've enjoyed every single dish I've gotten at Agua Verde. I usually get their tacos! With each dish you get a choice of nachos or beans and rice to eat with it. I'm more of a nacho person so I always combine it with whatever I get here! Other than the food, the restaurant itself is pretty vibrant and it definitely gets loud but that's how you know people are having a good time there. You must try Agua Verde!!!

Solid mexican restaurant with views of the waterfront, slightly pricey, I paid maybe ~$22 with tip for a plate of fish tacos.The vibe is pretty casual, order at the front of the restaurant, you choose where to sit and they will bring food over to your table. They have tables reserved specifically for parties of 6. You serve your own water and get your salsa at their salsa bar.I ordered baja fish tacos. Comes with your choice of chips or beans. It was pretty good!

Great food, good service, and a beautiful view.The atmosphere can be a bit hectic depending on when you come in, but it's worth it.
