Friendly service. Clean, new store. Sandwiches are definitely gourmet, pricey, too.It's counter service only and the menu is made up of only 8 sandwiches to choose from with a choice of an assortment of gourmet chips (a la carte). That's it, but it equates to being easy in terms of deciding what to have.The sandwiches all look good as you get to watch everyone before you get their sandwiches made.

I've been here twice now. Once during their soft opening, I dragged some of my coworkers here and we were blown away with how great these sandwiches are. The second time was this morning close to when they opened, because I was so excited to bring my husband to try their sandwiches. We both left with our tummies full and happy, telling the owners that their sandwiches are simply amazing.I've ordered the prosciutto sandwich twice now. Aside from layers of quality prosciutto, there is a truffle pecorino spread, burrata cheese, basil pesto, sun dried tomatoes, arugula, balsamic vinaigrette, and olive oil hugged in the middle of a delicious focaccia bread. My husband enjoyed the Waygu beef pastrami sandwich. This one has Waygu beef pastrami, the same truffle pecorino spread, aged provolone, and roasted red bell peppers, but he also requested spicy peppers added as well. He said the sandwich just felt so perfect and balanced in ratio with the crispy yet somehow also soft focaccia bread and the rich Waygu beef pastrami. He was so impressed. I mean, he had some of my left overs last time, but eating it there fresh and in person is a whole different experience!I work in a dental office nearby, and I've told all my patients to come here. We are so lucky to have a local place like this with a couple who love making this delicious wholesome food amidst all the chains that pour over Bell Road. I will choose local every time if I could. It just hits differently. It is worth the extra.

I felt like having a good sandwich for lunch and most spots are closed on Mondays. Luckily, AGourmet was opened and I had just bookmarked this hot new business to try on Yelp. This is a small sandwich spot with narrow wall tables and high chairs along both sides of the lobby area for diners who wish to eat in. There are sodas, sparkling juices, and waters in the beverage cold case near the front of the restaurant. Torres Selecta potato chips in a variety of flavors are also for sale. The sandwich shop has a simple and elegant aesthetic. Personally, I appreciate the simple menu. All sandwiches come on focaccia bread. There are eight sandwiches to choose from and one is a vegetarian sandwich. Just good quality ingredients that make up delicious high-quality sandwiches. The owners who are making the sandwiches are extremely friendly. I watched as they constructed several sandwiches with such precision and care while talking to customers. I felt confident my sandwich would be prepared in a very careful and loving manner. The owner slices the deli meats and cheeses carefully, slices and scoops out the center of each piece of focaccia, then passes the sandwich along where pesto, arugula, sun dried tomatoes, and other ingredients are carefully added. If you are eating in, the sandwiches are set on a wooden plate covered in a sheet of wax paper and displayed so nicely I almost regretted not eating in. I took mine to go and was equally impressed by the fancy way that my sandwich was wrapped. In all, I really felt like this lunch was prepared with attentiveness and love and that I knew I would get exactly what I had ordered. Everything was delicious. We love these types of sandwiches. I taught my kids long ago to make sandwiches on baguettes or sourdough with pesto, cheese, meat, arugula, and tomatoes so I can't wait to bring them in to try these.There is a restroom at the back of the store for customers. My only wish is that there would be more seating. I didn't quite feel the high narrow tables facing the walls were welcoming or comfortable enough to sit down for a lunch alone or with friends and family. Maybe also add an espresso machine because I was ready to sit down with my sandwich and a coffee.

I love family businesses and this place is just that. Small place but very welcoming as you enter the doors. You have a very young girl at the register who's handling transactions and you have the cook putting everything together behind the counter. I tried the pistachio mortadella. It came with pistachio, burrata cheese and fire roasted bell peppers. It was very delicious and well put together. The flavors blended it so perfectly and the bread was soft. I enjoyed this meal and will come back for more. Check this place out if you're in the area!

Super friendly folks, I'm betting we're the owners. They greeted us, as the sandwiches got finished they showed them off in an endearing way, and they chatted with everyone standing in line. This is a truly elevated sandwich experience from the selection through the excellent ingredients. The process started with a fresh loaf of focaccia being cut and included slicing the meats, dressing the sandwich with fresh arugula and excellent olive oil. It will take a few minutes more than most sandwich shops but it is delicious and worth the wait. I found the sandwich to be large enough to easily split and will do that next time. Really a great experience and would highly recommend you give it a try.

Excited that a place like this is now in AZ. I've had a similar kind of sandwich in NYC so I was craving this big time. It's a smaller shop but delicious options to choose from. The owners are really nice and friendly, making sure to help you pick the best choice. Lots of fresh ingredients and combinations to create. There are a few tables where you can eat there or can easily take it to go! A great spot to visit!

A fabulous surprise!!! Italian sandwiches right out of Italy!! Fresh meats and spreads piled on. So delicious!! And it's actually in Surprise!!!!! Great service and the owners are so sweet!!! Can eat in or take out!! But you probably won't make it home before taking a bite!!!!

Great quality ingredients! Great people. A unique style of authentic Italian sandwich that I can't even get in a big city like San Diego, never mind Surprise AZ. Be ready to throw out your conventional sandwich expectations. No mayo in the building! Mangia!

What a great addition to this area! Inside is clean, and neat atmosphere, they have a few tables so you can eat in, or take to go, I got a #1 which was nice size, and tasty! Very nice workers, and not too long of a wait, hope to come back here soon!

The sandwiches are excellent- fresh and made to order with good ingredients. They might be a bit pricey but one sandwich is big enough for two people and the quality so much better than eating fast food!
