Have been there for quite a few times since I came to Georgia Tech. The restaurant has two floors, the bar is located on the first floor and the dining room on the second. I usually say on the second floor as the view outside is beautiful. Usually, I order an entree, a side and some pita. Have tried many dishes and I would say all of them were good except for the chicken which was over grilled. For the meat, I enjoyed the lamb most: very standard medium temp., and flavorful. But please try other dishes besides meat! For example, the grilled Tulum cheese was gooey when hot and tasted like grits when cold, super interesting! The orzo and aromatic herb rice were also tasty if you like Mediterranean seasoning. Their Service good as well. Quick, friendly, and customer-oriented. For example, they charged me only half the price for the chicken, and my server would ask for a side salad for me (as I cannot finish a full portion).

My first meal in Atlanta, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was super clean and the setting was super warm and welcoming. The servers were super attentive and even gave us a free sample of one of their menus to try, which was delicious of course. My friend and I ordered family style and shared 3 dishes, which were the hummus, Kordon, and Asude Kebab. The hummus was one of the best I've ever had, and we had to order a second round of pita bread because we couldn't stop ourselves. The Kordon was also amazing, and I may be biased because I love myself a grilled octopus dish. Lastly, for the main we had the Asude Kebab, and everything on the plate was very well balanced. The chicken and rice suit eachother very well.I don't know when I'll be going back to Atlanta, but Agora has been added to my revisit list.

We had tried to eat here once before a few years ago, but they were renovating their dining room (or some such) and we did not want to just do take-out, so we went to the Buckhead location. We occasionally have lunch at the Buckhead branch but noted that this one had re-opened so we wanted to give it a shot. We arrived on a Sunday around 11:30 a.m. or so. Since it was Sunday, street parking nearby was free and we found a space. It is probably more challenging (and costly) on other days. They have a small downstairs area and a larger upstairs dining room. They also have some tables set up on the sidewalk. The menu here is slightly different than in Buckhead. Here they seem more focused on brunch items, but have some overlap of gyros. They don't have the wrap but they do have the platter. Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. The diners seemed to be a mix of young brunch enthusiasts, parents taking their college kid to lunch, and guys having a meal before some sporting event (Atlanta United?). All in all, I liked this place well enough. However, I'd probably be more apt to return to their Buckhead location as I'm not very brunch-oriented and the menu there is more to my taste.

Yessssss! A definite yes!!!! Turkish mediterranean food at its best, there are soooo many good flavors here....the lamb is completely lamb with no added beef and the chicken is amazingly flavorful and tender. I ordered the lamb and chicken gyro platter, it was a lot of food on a bed of white rice accompanied by a balsamic vinegar dressed salad, and pita bread. The restaurant was cute and the service was absolutely fantastic! We had no complaints. I can't wait to return and try their brunch/breakfast options. They also have complimentary Turkish Tea with the brunch menu.

This was my favorite restaurant while visiting Atlanta. My friend lives nearby and suggested it, so we walked (braved the cold and wind) 10 minutes to the restaurant. We didn't have reservations, and there was no wait. Apparently, the restaurant was closed for remodeling and recently opened. You can dine downstairs near the bar, but most of the seating was upstairs. The stairway tiles in between were such a beautiful print reminiscent of Greek or Turkish design. There's intimate 2- person seating and larger seating for groups of 4 or more. The teal velvet seating added to the charm. The place was dimly lit and cozy. Mary Lyle was our waitress. She was amazing and attentive. My friend and I ordered cocktails and various appetizers to try. Excellent price points from $7-9 with large portions, not to mention, delicious.I had the Gardenia cocktail with gin and cucumber that was refreshing. My friend ordered the Basilisk. I tried it, and it's green apple forward and also good. The appetizers we chose were hummus, babaganoush, shakshuka, and spanakopita. Unfortunately, they ran out of the babaganoush past 8 pm. Mary Lyle brought us a complimentary appetizer - lentil kofte. It was served on a bed of romaine. Hummus: Large portion. I loved the fried chickpeas on top. It's served with a full basket of pita. Spanakopita: 4 pieces and comes with a side salad with vinaigrette dressing. The spinach and feta was baked to perfection.Shakshuka: I absolutely loved this variation of shakshuka because it was eggplant based. It's typically tomato and egg. There was no egg, but it did have green peppers in a homemade tomato sauce. The eggplant and peppers were tender and paired nicely with the pita bread. Since the eggplant was cooked right, I'm sure the babaganoush was just as great.I had eaten a large, Southern dish for lunch, so I was getting full. My friend ordered the Turkish moussaka that came with eggplant and ground beef and was served with rice. I had some of it, and it is a filling entree. Again, it was a large portion. At the end of our meal, Mary Lyle surprised us with a free dessert - rice pudding. We killed it! There's a hint of cinnamon. It was creamy. I could taste the whipping cream or milk they used. When I go back to Atlanta, I'm coming here for my Mediterranean fix. I just hope there's babaganoush next time! *fingers crossed*

This is a fantastic place for Turkish food. I've been for both lunch dinner and brunch and it never disappoints. However, their Turkish breakfast spread is so special get a bunch of different things to try a ton of pita and different breads with an addition of an egg entrée. They have a great drink menu. The service is always out of this world and they have outdoor seating and indoor seating to choose from. They take reservations and I honestly cannot say enough praise for this fantastic midtown Staple.

So some friends and I chose Agora as our dinner spot for Friendsgiving. This spot has been closed down for a little while it has recently done a revamp in decor and the menu. I will say parking can be a little tricky. There is apparently an old bank that you can Parkette. I didn't know that it was old because it still has signs up to says private property and it looks like a bank. But it is a spot that you can park at. There is also street parking. You do have to pay for parking unless it's between certain times in certain days. We went on a Sunday so parking was free on the street. The inside is very beautiful. It's not a very big restaurant but it's a decent size. The food was very good. We got the meze platter which has so many different options to try and served with pita bread. We also ordered a couple other appetizers and shared. My favorite was the.sigara rolls. They were so cheesy and flaky from the dough. All the food was super flavorful. And all the meat was super tender and juicy. We had a really great time celebrating our Friendsgiving here. Service was so good as well. I would definitely go back to this place.

My girlfriend and I were traveling through Atlanta when she happened upon this place via Yelp. we decided to stop in for dinner during our road trip. It was well worth it!
