Agege Bites

First, support black-owned businesses in the Valley. I had their Ogbono soup with pounded yam, and it was so delicious and filling, which reminded me of home. I took one star off, because on Google they didn't specify their dine-in and takeout hours. I arrived at the place around 6 and sat myself just for the waitress to say that I have to get takeout because they close at 7. That being said, they can improve their customer service a little bit. Otherwise, the food is good and delicious.

Came in and I was the only person there. Lady at counter greeted, told me to get the menu and ordered where she is at. About 10 minutes later a small family arrived and the lady ran to them, greeted and took their order at the table. Same for the other guy after them... After about 30 minutes of waiting my pepper soup (goat meat) with swallow (fufu) arrived. Somehow the small family and the other guy who ordered more than I did their foods arrived before me. The foods were decent however the service leave a bad taste. I'm all into supporting local businesses but, the customer services needs work. They should treat everyone the same and not selective. I felt unwelcome as the only Asian eating there.

My first experience with Nigerian food! It was a hit, very similar to Caribbean and Spanish flavors mixed with habanero spices. I finallllly got to try FUFU! And it did not disappoint. I loved it with the efo riro. My favorite thing might've been the asun though, aka goat appetizer. The place is a mom and pops shop and they're so nice and welcoming.

Ayamase was salty and the rice was undercooked. The beef shawarma is just ground beef and hot dog with salad. I will definitely not recommend.

I tried Agege Bites as my first ever experience trying Nigerian or any African food and I am beyond impressed to say the least. Everything I ordered was bursting with incredible, complex flavors and unlike anything else that I've had. Super fresh, made with love and high quality ingredients. I ordered the jollof rice, ewa agonyin and turkey and I can't pick which one is my favorite! Even my picky toddler loved the jollof rice and turkey! The owners are incredible, sweet people as well! Basically Nigerian food is my new favorite cuisine now and I can't wait to go back!

Nice little spot clean, nicely decorated , food was spicy and yummy will definitely give it a try again next time I go out that way to do some shopping

We got Agege Bites delivered for dinner and it did not disappoint. The owner is so kind, communicative and makes each dish with love to represent Nigerian cuisine. This was our first time having Nigerian food and we really enjoyed it! The dishes had lots of flavors and surprisingly had a good spice to it. We can't wait to try more delicious meals from them!

Just had lunch at Agege Bites with my son. Food was good but the service was even better. The Owner is a gem of a person and works hard to make sure you have an excellent experience. I would suggest you give them a try.

All of these reviews are lies, like legitimately they must be family and friends. The service first of all was horrible. We had to grab our own drinks, the puff puff was microwaved, and we had to interrupt our server from using his phone every single time we needed something. The food was over spiced and mediocre. 10/10 would not recommend. If you go, I hope you have better luck. Also the restaurant was empty .

Good food, very impressive, service was excellent! I recommend you check out this place if you're looking for African cuisine.
