Adrian's Surf N' Turf Grill

WOW! Dip me in batter and call me a rockfish, this place has fantastic fish and chips.The fish is delicious with a nice crispy batter and the fries are well seasoned.

Heard about this place from Reddit about the most underrated restaurants. Someone mentioned that their house made ranch ruined all other ranches for them. Now that I've tried it, I completely agree. Everything is made to order and made PERFECTLY. I got the San Diego Cheesesteak (cooked medium) and it legit tasted like little bits of steak in each bite. The Fish & Chips are definitely one of the best in San Diego! Can't go wrong with ANY of their fries. Their fries are crispy, but with that perfect mashed potato middle that all restaurants strive for. The owners of this place are always friendly. I was super conflicted as to what to get and they were super helpful. The benches inside have you sit with other people during busy lunchtimes from the surrounding businesses, but no one is ever in a bad mood because of the food lol.

The ahi tuna steak was delicious!! Big portions and friendly service. The sesame nori plate was a big portion but too much ginger for me personally. Worth the value ($25) and would suggest ordering the plates if you're hungry.Our friends got the Parmesan garlic fries and they were hot and yummy. The tacos had good ahi pieces, but were very messy and harder to eat. Easy parking and plenty of seating inside.

First time coming here. I was craving for fried mushrooms since there's only a very few places that have it and taste good. When I arrived, the service seems to be friendly and attentive. They have wide arrange of food selection to try. I ordered the fried mushrooms and cup of their seafood chowder. And I gotta say their food was excellent, quality better than most dine-in restaurants. The batter on mushrooms was really good, crunchy and seasoned. The seafoods chowder was delicious. It had lots of seafood in it. They didn't skimp on portions. Its taste fresh and quality ingredients was on point. I would definitely come back everything on the menu.

This place was rated very high on Yelp. We were in the area so we decided to grab some lunch. Tommy at the front was really nice and is a hard worker. He handled everything including wiping the tables, taking orders, etc. we ordered the following ... *Seafood Cobb SaladHouse greens, grilled shrimp, blue cheese, bacon, tomatoes, eggs, avocado, house ranch dressing ( we asked for tomatoes on the side) *Rockfish Sandwich -Brioche bun,local beer-battered rockfish,lettuce, tomato, onion, You have a choice of house tartar sauce or chipotle mayo ( we requested both) *San Diego Seafood Chowder -Shrimp, clams, potatoes, oyster crackersI really enjoyed the rockfish sandwich. It was delicious and flavorful. The French fries that accompanied the sandwich were the standout! OMG so crispy and perfectly seasoned!!! The clam chowder soup was hot and yummy. I enjoyed it but I should have requested pepper for a little more seasoning. Lastly, the only concern I had was that I couldn't justify the "seafood" Cobb salad because it only had two pieces of shrimp. The presentation was nice but I felt it needed more seafood to be called a "seafood" club salad. Overall , I enjoyed the experience and those fries!!!!

I've been coming to Adrian's for the last six years basically whenever friends and I are in Clairemont and everything I've tried has been delicious. Staff is always friendly too, just good vibes.My most recent trip I had the Ahi Tuna sandwich, which was delicious. The garlic parm fries are always a must! The fish and chips and ahi sashimi tacos are also faves of mine.This is a fast casual restaurant where you pay at the front when you order. There are a few tables inside and if it's busy we usually will take it to go and eat in a park.

Another team lunch at this place. Everyone was really happy with the food. Didn't get to click the pictures but the Ahi tuna taco was a different take! Tasted like a sushi in a hard shell taco. Really interesting and filled with flavoursI had a hearty bowl of grilled chicken Greek salad. The chicken was soft and juicy and not at all chewy!The service is great. We were 8 of us so definitely food took sometime 10-15min I would say which was expected as it can get really crowded during lunch time. They have a lot of healthy options too. The menu is very well balanced with sandwiches, grilled swekers with options to add rice, tacos and salad. It's a place for everyone

Wow the chef and owner Adrian is really good at cooking! True chef quality. This is the most underrated restaurant in San Diego but top quality and skillful cooking! The fish was fried perfectly and crispy but not oily and the fish inside still tender and juicy. The grilled zucchini with basil pesto on top was so delicious and the texture was meaty- perfectly cooked, not at all mushy. My husband ordered a beef sandwhich which he loved and it came with fries- his favorite fries ever! He thinks they were double fried. We loved the seafood chowder too- generously full of seafood

Great food , volume and Quality definitely recommend. In town on business. Wanted a great sandwich and I thought it was going to be a standard cheesesteak, I was wrong full steak sliced up. Enjoy is what I would tell you

I'm on a project in San Diego and discovered Adrian's Surf and Turf. The food is fantastic and people working here are friendly, professional and made my orders a joy. I got the Grilled Ribeye Skewers yesterday and came back to day for the Grilled Swordfish Skewers. The crew I'm working with got the Seared Ahi Tuna Bowl, Bacon Cheeseburger, SanDiego Seafood Chowder, and the Rockfish & Chips. The food was freshly prepared and delicious! My ribeye was cooked to perfection, flavorful and extremely tender. This is now our favorite lunch place in the area. I'd highly recommend giving it a try!
