Extremely convenient little grocery store. Fresh produce, several aisles of essentials (albeit very narrow aisles). Full meat counter, in addition to some pre-packaged meats. Decent selection of dairy - small and very basic frozen section. Prices are comparable to local supermarkets in the area. Doesn't necessarily have "everything", but has a lot for a neighborhood store. Love this place.

This place, as Nikki said, is LEGIT!!!! I just moved to the neighborhood and live about half a block up on Diversey. Went shopping here my first nice and bought what I thought would be a bazillion dollars in food and supplies. When I checked out, the young girl at the counter said $19.49. The place is small and there is not a lot of room. Small and efficient is the way it is, and that's all you need. Almost all the signs are in Spanish, so if you are like me, and haven't taken Spanish is a few years (10 for me), it will help a lot. Not needed, but as I said, it will help a lot in your shopping experience.

I want to love this place since its right down the street from me but unfortunately I just use it as a corner store when I need something asap. The meat doesn't smell fresh to me as I walk by the butcher counter. They don't carry pharmacy items like bandaids or Tylenol. The absolute worst thing about this place is that it's impossible to go here with a simple umbrella stroller. For the mamas out there you'll understand the pain this causes when you get here and can't maneuver through the aisle. The problem isn't that it's a tiny store (it is but that's not the problem) the problem is that since it IS a tiny store there's no backroom or storage so they have to use the aisles for their boxes of shipments. There's constantly boxes of overstock hanging around the aisles which makes it hard to shop here comfortably. How can I shop local and help my community if I can't even come here with my kids?! I've complained to owner or manager or someone that it's hard to shop there which boxes limit the whole store and they said sorry and moved about their day. Thanks for being here but for "big" grocery shopping I'd rather go anywhere else but here.

Just in case I haven't stated this before...I have an UNDYING LOVE for this place! Let me put it this way:- Head of Lettuce- Bunch of Celery- Bag of Carrots- 1 Lg. White Onion- 4 Red Potatoes- 3 White Potatoes- 4 Tomatoes- 2 Red Peppers- 2 Green Peppers- 3 Oranges- A WHOLE breast of a chicken (2.5 lbs with bones)*drumroll*For a total of $15.78.I'll use Peapod.com as a comparison of how much it would probably be in a Jewel-Osco or Dominick's grocery store. Well the only thing they had close to a chicken breast with bone was something by Perdue and was $11.00. So, the grand total of this exact same list on Peapod.com totaled to $36.39.So, I saved $20.61.Like I said....have I told you how much I love Adrian's?? AND the cashier told me that in a month they are going to be selling a LOT more vegetables and they will be selling rotisserie chicken! *drools*

I live very close to Adrians and walk there weekly to get odds and ends groceries that I need. The produce is always good and reasonably priced. The avocados are expensive but seriously the best avocados I've ever had. I've gotten meat there and it's been good quality as well.

I LOVE the location.. I also love the selection.. However I'm leaving such a low review for these reasons... 1. There was moldy cheese in the fridge, so I grabbed a different type of cheese, quesadilla cheese by the slice.... I get home and it tastes like plastic refrigerator taste.... 2. I bought Campari tomatoes, also had strong refrigerator taste.... 3. Mushrooms.. easy to tell if they are sitting too long, they were not... REFRIGERATOR TASTE! 4. Onions... there was a rotting white onion with a dozen or so gnats sitting in the rot spot.. so I opted for a yellow onion, which ended up being rotten too... CONCLUSION! Whoever is in charge of removing SPOILED items from shelves is NOT DOING THEIR JOB! THE REFRIGERATORS AND COOL VEG DISPLAY REFRIGERATORS ALL NEED TO BE 'CLEANED!!!! AND MAINTAINED!.. inventory needs to be dated, and discarded or donated once passing the sell by date! This little store has SO much potential and to offer.. but they need to not sell SPOILED ITEMS! I'm so so mad.. I just lost my job and the perishable food items I bought from Adrian's are all bad! I can barely afford to eat right now and the little money I have I spent there... AND I CANT EVEN EAT IT

Great local grocery store! For how small it is, I'm always amazed by how much I find there. The workers are also always super friendly. Great spot if you live in the neighborhood.
