Adriano's Pizza Grotto

We were coming back from Mount Laguna looking for a place to take a restroom break and grab some lunch. This place is located within the Viejas Outlet center which I've noticed to be pretty quiet, low traffic the last times I've been around.With that said, Adriano's was full of people waiting in line to order so that was a good sign!My fiancé and I shared a 12in meat lovers pizza and a half order of lasagna with the meat sauce and meatball.Pizza was delicious and had a chewy crust and thick layer of cheese - kind of reminded me Filippi's pizza, if I had to compare it to something. Only issue was that the cheese was so thick and not cut through that when you pulled a slice, the toppings would get stuck the rest of the pizza and you'd be left with the crust.Lasagna was really good with the meat sauce (you could also choose marinara sauce) and the added meatball was the highlight. I did ask the girl at the counter if the meatballs/sausages were made in house and I thought it was strange that she didn't know. There was a section that was just a thick chunk of hard cheese so I had to throw it away, but other than that the rest was good.Overall, it's a nice little spot in the outlet so if you're in the area, definitely stop by! The pizza and lasagna was more than enough food for us and we had leftovers for a couple days!

I was kinda shocked on how good the pizza was, Especially the cheese!Walked in with low expectations and needed some drinking food - lolThey do not sell slices but a small pepperoni pizza was about $10. I bit the bullet and it was made fresh. Took about 10 mins or so. Wasn't that busy at all. They brought it over to our table and it looked really cheesy. They don't skimp on cheese here at all. The crust tasted fresh as well not frozen. Small was 4 slices just enough to fill us up. Friendly employees and they even checked up on us afterward to ask how the pizza was. The place Is a lot larger than it looks and was very clean. I would eat here again!

Delicious and totally unexpected. High quality food for a random spot at a mall. Loved the pizza and sandwiches!

My daughter and I came here for lunch while hubby is in the casino side gambling. This place is delicious and legit. My daughter wanted the pineapple pizza 8" size along with a large fountain drink. She got a Dr. Pepper. I decided to get a super torpedo sandwich and a large lemonade to drink. The torpedo sandwich was huge and filled with meats, cheese and lettuce and tomatoes. The bread was warm and fresh not tough. I was full from the sandwich and left a little left. Plenty of tables inside and all you can drink fountain. They had Pepsi products but I chose lemonade. I try not to drink soda. The guy taking my order was super nice. My daughter loves her pineapple pizza and we love this place. I highly recommend this place for Italian if you live in San Diego.

Personal score: 4.0 due to WAIT time, food was delish!! No restroom We had the pizza sausage/pepperoni = sausage was flavorful. Tons of pepperoniSour dough for garlic bread was questionable, but oddly still tasty. Lasagna was very saucy, but very tasty. Needs the meatball to balance the meal Reasonable cost. Huge portions. Left pretty happy

I happened to find this fantastic place just by chance! It's located in the food court in the outlet mall across the way from the Viejas Casino. I ordered the meatball sandwich with mozzarella cheese and bell peppers. The sandwich turned out to be phenomenal. It was gigantic and very tasty, easily enough for two people to share. From what I could tell, everything they serve off the menu is also well prepared and tasty. This place is nothing fancy, but the prices are very reasonable and it's nice inside. I also found the staff to be friendly, courteous and helpful.

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon after playing in the snow in the Lagunas, and what a hidden gem! I hesitate to rave about them bc I'd rather not wait an hour for food once the crowds arrive (LOL) but rave, I must! Our server was fantastic, friendly, got everything right, and the food (quantity, cost, quality) were equally noteworthy. Highly recommend Adriano's, I'll see you folks soon!

This restaurant has a nice Italian feel, could be family owned. Upon entering, you can smell the delicious food and it is delicious!! It's in a great location, it is in walking distance, directly across from the Viejas Casino. You walk in, place your order, seat yourself, and they bring your order to you. Great service!! My husband and I shared a meatball sandwich and a small mushroom pizza...We thought it was a great choice!!

Super light and non greasy pizza. Would return if in the area.My dad loves about an hour away and loves this place. When he is in town he buys like 4 pizzas at a time, then freezes them. Note I only have tasted the vegetarian pizza so can't speak to the the other options. It's not heavy and is pretty addicting. Not the best pizza ever but up there.They follow covid restrictions!

Very good pizza...Ordered three sodas, 8" cheese pizza, 8" meat lovers, and cheese ravioli with marinara. Pro: very good pizza and ravioli with that true Italy taste. Decor in the restaurant isn't bad, reminds me of ruins in Tuscany. Service seemed quick and just right. Cons: price is a little high for the 8" and ravioli. Expect that at the Viejas Casino. Outside was so hot at 103 degrees ferinhight. Daughter had Mexican from the place next door and the lady told us that outside food not aloud, but allowed us to stay.
