Very nice service and good was fantastic. Nothing super fancy very casual eating but just delicious food. Ymir you haven't had Ethiopian be ready to eat with your hands. We also got the coffee and you get quite a bit for the price and it was delicious.

Delicious Ethiopian food, good portions. I love supporting small businesses but only come if you have at least 3 hours to dine. The wait takes forever and the host is not experienced to run the restaurant efficiently even when it's only at half capacity. Poor dining experience. It took 30 minutes just to order the food, and another 45 minutes wait to get it. Folks that came in after us got to order and eat before us. Another couple left after they got their food (we assume it was cause they got fed up with how inefficient the restaurant was running). If they simply hire an experienced host (or get training to improve the service) who is able to observe the entire restaurant and run it efficiently, this restaurant will be able to provide customers a 5 star experience.Disappointed, we will be returning to our other favorite Ethiopian restaurant.

We dropped by on a weeknight for a quick dinner and were blown away by the flavors. This is now among one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.Food: Vegetable combo & meat combo: 5/5. Seasoning and flavors are incredible, and portions are large. Some of the included dishes are slightly spicy, the perfect amount of heat, in my opinion. Service and atmosphere: 4/5. The digs are unassuming and relaxed. Interaction with the waiter was limited and the food came out quickly.

There are so many Ethiopian paces nearby, but this one had one of the highest ratings, so I decided to give it a shot. I got their veggie combo ($19.50 plus tax -- similar to other places nearby), which comes with 7 dishes including a salad. The place has a pleasant, bare bones interior, with a clean feel to it. The plate came out in about 10-15 minutes. The portion is huge, so it somewhat justifies the high price. The highlight was the green bean dish, which is rarely the highlight at Ethiopian cuisines for me. The gomen and misir wot were both average, and everything else was decent as well. 3.5/5 for quality.Service is fine, nothing special. More expensive and way less impressive than nearby Chef Cafe -- go there instead.

We had dinner here on a rainy day when we were the only table. The service was a bit slow but the food eventually came. We ordered meats combo which was large enough for 2-3 not-so-hungry people. The meets were not very tender and the flavor was okay. We also ordered chai which in my opinion, wasn't spicy enough. Street parking available but spots were limited.

I can't gush enough about this place. It's a cozy, locally owned Ethiopian spot in Central District. Incredible flavors, massive portions, great price, extremely kind staff. The Meat Combo ($22) - each component was absolutely delicious. A conglomeration of 12 different components (meat- based (chicken, lamb, beef), lentil based, vegetable based, and an amazing cheese). The injera is fresh. My new go-to for Ethiopian food! They also have breakfast which I would love to try.

On a delightful Friday evening, I had the pleasure of stumbling upon a true hidden gem. Stepping inside, I was greeted by an enchanting, though empty restaurant. Its interior was impeccably clean, featuring tasteful and minimalist decorations, all while a muted TV hummed in the background.Engaging in a delightful conversation with the restaurant's gracious owners, I sought their expert recommendation, as Ethiopian cuisine wasn't a usual choice for me. Their suggestion, the Beg Tibbs, was an absolute revelation. My only minor quibble was with the packaging, as the sauce managed to escape into the bag, but the dish itself was a symphony of flavors. What truly surprised me was the bill, a mere $19.20 post-tax for such a culinary adventure. As I left, my taste buds singing with joy, I couldn't help but make a mental note: I would unquestionably return for more takeout in the near future, and I couldn't wait to share this hidden gem with my friends. In sum, a remarkable evening that I wholeheartedly recommend to any food enthusiast.

Absolutely delicious food and kind staff. The vibe provides a close-knit community and family oriented feel. Every single person working here was so kind. My heart goes out to the chef(s) - i don't know how to describe the taste of the food, but it's as if they poured their soul into the dishes - every hint of spice, the temperate, the textures..... WOW! Support local! Support black owned businesses! Enjoy this yummy food and tip these people well!
