Little by little, I have made it a point to taste all the taco Tuesday street taco deals offered at several taco shops near home and work. This is my latest preferred place for this style of taco. The price cannot be beat- $1.49 each! My favorites are the carne asada and cabeza. Don't mistake the cabeza for cow brain, this is the meat on and around the head, not on the inside...The cabeza here is ultra tender, similar to pot roast and can be fatty. But still delicioso! And I use green and red salsa for a combo flavor boost.Just remember, no guacamole with these. If you really need it, make it at home or walk across to Ralph's and get a small tub that'll do like 10 tacos. For sure the word has gotten out so it does get crazy busy. Especially the drive-thru line. So just park nearby and walk up to the window. They pump out the orders quickly and I've never waited more than 10 minutes. You could do the car wash and now you have solved the parking problem and your car will be clean too. I don't kill birds but you know the saying right? I'll admit that other than the street tacos, I've only tried the breakfast burritos and rolled tacos. I'll definitely try some other items from here eventually, it's just hard to stray away from this killer deal on Tuesdays!

This is exactly what I need from a "berto's" named taco shop. Solid tacos, above average burritos. Staff is very good. Taco Tuesday deal is muy bueno.

Very solid and quick Mexican drive through food. This place is 24/7 making it the perfect late night munchy spot. Tacos are super cheap and packed with meat! Little janky looking from the outside but the food hits the spot. We actually went here 2 nights in a row during our latest trip to SD. Worth it

Hello I am an Amazon driver, on my lunch I found this place, quick and great customer service. I got a breakfast burrito; eggs, papa, (fries) cheese, and bacon. So good I normally don't try other taco shops cause they can't make a breakfast burrito, this place definitely can. So good I am making this a top lunch spot when I'm in La mesa area. Not only does it taste great but it is cheaper than other places 10$ burrito but portion was larger than most taco shops. The seating is a nice little setup it's just loud from car wash but overall peaceful.

Honestly great for students/ppl who live next to SDSU. The line wasn't super long, the cashier was sweet & food taste pretty good for its price! It's bang for your buck. Little small place where you either eat in your car or outside. I tried the breakfast burrito and will say it's just a tad bit dry without salsa or ketchup so make sure you get some! The tacos were great. They had lots of meet they def didn't skim out on it like many places now. Salsa were great too. It's a good taco & they do have taco Tuesday discounts!! If you're an SDSU student take your ID & there's also a student discount! I would say try it out and see for yourself :)

Adalberto's Mexican Food, or as my group of friends affectionately call it, 'Car Wash,' is the perfect spot for all your basic Mexican food cravings. Nestled in the parking lot of a car wash, this spot is a one-stop-shop for both your hunger and your dirty car.The menu is nothing groundbreaking, but it hits the spot for your standard carne asada burrito, crispy beef tacos, and breakfast burrito needs. The burritos are generously filled and the tacos are crispy to perfection - they're one of my faves! One word of warning though, the seating is limited and the ambiance is non-existent, but who needs that when you have delicious food and a clean car? Plus, the car wash employees are known to sneak a bite or two while on their break.So, next time you're driving through and in need of a quick bite and a car wash, make a pit stop at Adalberto's. Just don't forget to ask for extra hot sauce and enjoy the unique dining experience of eating in a parking lot. Trust me, it's worth it.

Ordered got pickup. Everything was amazing. We all were telling each other how good out food was. The asada burrito was epic, put red sauce on every bite. Yummy.

How to easily win me over... Have a speedy drive thru. Serve classic Mexican fast food. Offer massive portions. Turn my quesadilla into a breakfast quesadilla! ... and just like that, I'm yours.

My review is strictly for the crunchy, shredded chicken tacos. I wish you could smell, taste, and hear my pics!! Flavors are amazing! Large, moist chunks of tender chicken covered in cool, crisp, finely shredded lettuce and cheese. The crunch factor on the taco shell is a 10!! The shells hold up nicely to the juicy chicken! Even after eating my first taco, the second taco was still crunchy. Their red salsa is also very good. Nice and spicy! Not a red watered down liquid like other taco shops.

Services and food is good and fast drive thru services and the price is affordable. You will be happy
