Achilles Coffee Roasters

Full disclosure, I am a caffeine fiend. Coffee is my biggest dopamine hit and keeps me going on the daily. Achilles Coffee was strong enough to give me, a hardened caffeine addict, jitters. Not like bad jitters though. There was some serious energy packed into that cold brew. The Aztec was delicious too. Nutty shaved Mexican cocoa (think nibs) swimming around with cream, cinnamon, brown sugar, and super smooth cold brew. It went down easy and probably too fast. Clean shop, friendly service, fancy-looking menu. Will definitely need to stop back next time I am in town.

This is a cafe that is very close to the San Diego Convention Center. It was very convenient to stop by here for brunch when we were at SDCC. I ordered the mocha and the everything bagel with cream cheese and I thought the meal was decent. The mocha was a tad bit sweet but next time I could ask for less syrup. The bagel was okay - the bagel overall was a bit on the chewier side, as in I wish the crust were a little more toasted but that's okay, I still finished the bagel.There is some outdoor seating.

Stopped in here a couple times during my walk to Comic Con...nice coffee shop overall. Clean, modern, and industrial look. Friendly staff and good coffee. It is however, noticeably more expensive than most coffeeshops:-Large cold brew coffee was $6.75-Large nitro was $6.50-Park West Egg Sandwich $8.65: egg, havarti, mixed greens, chipotle aioli, all inside an English muffin. Good, but seemed rather pricy for what it is. If you're a upper 6 figure earner living in the area, good for you at being so successful in life! This place is great!! For lower six figure earners, or sub six figure earnings, this is a splurge.

Came here during their lunch rush and ordered a matcha latte, Aztec concoction, Mt. Laguna sandwich, the Strand sandwich, and a berries n cream bagel. Everything was made to order and they were fast at making them. My matcha was great and hubby enjoyed his drink as well. I liked my heart latte art! The sandwiches were fresh and delicious. I had the berries n cream as my dessert and it wasn't overly sweet. Definitely worth a stop if you live in the area.

The breakfast burrito is pretty hefty - the chile that comes with it is spicy and I would get it again. I always like to try vanilla lattes everywhere I got and I'm always disappointed. I should have stuck with a black coffee. Maybe next time.

This is a solid coffee shop and it is really quick and easy to get your drinks. Their coffee is smooth and while roasted, and there are some really tasty menu items. It is a little limited in terms of how many options there are, but everything here is a good quality. Fast service, clean ambiance and clean storefront, and solid roast. You really can't ask for much more. I would not recommend studying at this location or using it as a co-working space, but if you're just trying to grab a quick cup of coffee it's a good option for you.

Good coffee and a good breakfast burrito. I got the burrito with turkey (not turkey bacon, but like lunch meat turkey) and it really worked. Makes me wonder if we could start using other deli meats for breakfast burritos. I think roast beef would work. The salsa that comes with it is just ok.

Cute coffee spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Food and coffee served from 7am-2pm. They have a surprisingly decent sized menu for food with breakfast sandwiches, lunch deli sandwiches, salads, smoothies, bowls, etc. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon and it was large and delicious. Everything was scrambled together so you could taste all the flavors in every bite! My husband got the Mt Laguna sandwich and enjoyed it. I placed an order online for takeout and it was ready in 20 minutes, exactly as quoted.

By far my favorite coffee roaster in San Diego. Located right across from Petco Park. We've visited during off season so it was easy to drop in without any huge ball crowds. The star of the shop that I really enjoyed was the nitro cold brew. Incredibly smooth and great tasting. As soon as the brew was poured out of the tap, you can immediately tell it's gonna be a good day. By far one of the best nitro cold brews I've ever had. Staff was welcoming and service was quick. Skip Starbucks and support local. Cheers to a good brew.

The coffee is absolutely delicious. My team and I ordered from here several times while we were in Downtown San Diego for a project. The service is excellent everyone is ever welcoming and kind. They don't rush you even when there is a line. Is environment provides a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and or get some work done.
