Had the late-ish munchies and was craving Mediterranean.This place was clutch! Simple, tasty, and great service. It's nestled in between two larger businesses, a hookah lounge and Dirty Birds. So parking is definitely an issue. The owners must have a great relationship with the hookah lounge because they asked us if they wanted our food to be dropped off at the hookah lounge. We were taking it home. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate and the Beef, Chicken & Kufta Kabob combo platter. Our first two choices were out unfortunately. Both were good but the combo platter was excellent. I particularly liked their hummus. Thought it was divine. The dining room left a lot to be desired. Clearly they value the food and not the ambiance. Which is fine. It was empty when we came here.

We couldn't try the food because they were not open at 12:50 on a friday. hours should be updated. Call first.

Abraj serves good food that hits the spot - and lots of it! A entrée is really enough for two meals, especially when you add in the soup. This is good because it means you can take home leftovers for another delicious meal. It isn't the most flavorful Mediterranean food I've ever had, but it is unoffensively good and filling. The restaurant isn't the most beautiful in San Diego, but that's ok because the service makes up for it. The owners/workers are so nice and constantly make sure you have everything you need.

If I could rate this a 10 I would. THE BEST. The owner is SO NICE. I find it tough to find quality Mediterranean food but this right here FIRE.

Got food to-go here last night,& I plan on going back again this evening! Got the chicken kabob dinner, which came with soup and salad. Big pieces of grilled chicken, with flavored rice, hummus and pita. All tasted home-made, and made with love!

We constantly order take out from this place but it was my first time coming in for pick up. I had no idea it was right next to dirty birds until now -- I will 100% order food from here the next time my husband wants to go to dirty birds. The woman up front and the man cooking in back are both sweet. The food is homemade and the best medd you're going to find in San Diego. People complaining about the time it takes to make fresh food should go to McDonald's. They could update the interior and make it more current but frankly they don't need to, the food does enough to bring people back.

Husband and wife are a great team!! Pre-ordered the food the day before and was able to fill the order early! Food was an office lunch and EVERYONE loved the food! Party trays had so much more food. It fed more than 5 people!! Thank you for the great food!!
