I'm from Aleppo, Syria, discovering the perfect shawarma spot in San Diego was a journey until I found [Abn Al Sham]. From its authentic ambiance to the impeccable blend of garlic sauce and pickles (very important to me), every bite is a taste of home. With its unwavering commitment to quality and tradition, literally earns my highest rating of 100000000/10 the ultimate shawarma experience!! I even started crying eating it!!The service was truly amazing! The kind-hearted staff greeted us with the biggest smiles, making us feel like we were back home in Syria. Every moment spent there was a delight, thanks to their warm hospitality and genuine care for their customers.The fried chicken (broasted) was so good that I started eating the bones. The chicken skin was so crispy that it could just become a chip, the way it falls apart all so easily, and yet it was so crispy!Thank you for reading!!

BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN TOWN! Came for the first time and got the four piece chicken with fries. Not burnt, not greasy, super crispy and juicy! I've lived in San Diego for almost five years and this is the best fried chicken I've tried here. I don't give reviews at all but I owe it to this place. It's so good I gave the man in front a hug after finishing my meal...yes ask them about it. Four piece (drumstick, full wing, thigh and breast) and good portion. Reasonable price for the portion. I've been waiting for this place to open for a while.It lights up beautifully at night. They are still in a soft opening and don't have the full menu available yet. I tried to come yesterday but there were so many people inside, every table was full, and there was a line outside. Glad I got to make it today and add them to Yelp. I ordered the Shawarma sandwich and the broasted fried chicken. Not sure why they call it "broasted"?I have been to many Syrian restaurants before, but never ordered the chicken. Mostly get shawarma, fattoush, and kibbeh. I will be back when the menu is fully available. So far love what I have had.

The service? Fantastic. The ambiance? Clean, efficient, and very friendly. The food? Out of this world. If you're hungry and enter this establishment, be prepared for your mouth to go on a journey of enlightenment. Best shawarma I've had in San Diego. A tear of joy slipped out upon my first bite, and many more after I realized I inhaled it all. I highly recommend this establishment.

The fried chicken is so flavorful, fresh and juicy. We also got the sandwich and it all did not disappoint. There is fresh fruit, smoothies, acai bowls. We will be back. The biggest plus is that they treat you like family here. Best fried chicken and best customer service in all of san diego county.

Best shawarma in San Diego by far. Ibn al sham got it covered because of the authentic taste; chicken, the taste, the cut, and the wrap. This is the deliciousness we want more of. Thank you for a wonderful meal and keep up the good work.

I heard so much about their shawarma, and honestly, it is out of this world. This was one of the reasons I wanted to visit San Diego! It is delicious and exactly like the one we used to eat back home.
