We went there about an hour before closing. Upon entering it looked like 3 groups had just left because the tables and dishes were not cleared. An hour later when we left the tables still weren't cleared. We went here because the community was raving about this place and it was only 2 miles away from our home. We grew up eating Chinese food from the international district in Seattle and having a good restaurant so close to us was enticing. Sadly, we were underwhelmed because of the portion to price ratio and flavors weren't to what we were used to. For the same prices you can go to another Chinese restaurant on Kent Kangley that serves their dishes in family style portions that feed 3-4 people.

We just came home from having dinner there. We came in an hour before closing, oops. The one lady was very nice but speak up for her. The food was very fresh and tasty. The chicken was crunchy which is exactly how it should be. The eel was soft and flavorful, a good chunk. The egg was a random surprise, but hey, who doesn't love a good egg. The dumplings were also good and very hot. My husband had a Hong Kong style milk tea, which he enjoyed. I'd like to return during the day and see if there's a difference, but otherwise I'd recommend.

First off the restaurant is very clean. It is also very small and the restaurant really need some music playing in the background because it's very quiet in there, too quiet. Second I'm sure that the owner is also the waitress. I don't know if she's grumpy but she's just typical Chinese. It seemed to me she was running the whole restaurant. Also cooking cleaning and busing. There was only one other table there, the food took about 20 minutes and it all came out for five minutes apart from each other. I thought the food was very good all in all I just think the atmosphere in there was a little stale. I hope she reads this review and add some music so that you don't feel like you're in a library.

The ambiance was very peaceful. The smell was inviting. The service was great. They were understanding and on top of things. The food was amazing. I got potstickers, shrimp dumplings, shrimp and pork dumplings, and hummus baos...will be coming back often.

Came here midday and ordered 3 types of dim sum, a chicken bun, a custard bun and butterfly shrimp. When I opened the shrimp and saw what they gave me I was shocked, clearly the shrimp is burnt and overcooked and they still gave it to me. No wonder this place is always empty. My chicken bun also had shrimp and mushrooms but no chicken so after eating 1 bun and seeing the state of the shrimp I just tossed it all in the garbage. I can't trust this restaurants quality so I wouldn't come here again.

Still love this place. If you're in the mood for some spicy garlic flavor, I highly recommend the Sichuan Fish. Comes in a broth with garlic and chili oil. If you don't want spicey, but still a garlic lover, the chicken mushroom wonton soup is also solid. This is my go to when I'm sick. In fact, it tastes even better as left overs, giving the garlic broth time to absorb into the wontons. (Can you tell I love garlic?)Now that I've become a regular, the lady recognizes me and smiles. It's interesting how the language barrier has softened a bit between us for simply being familiar faces. I recall how anxious and cold she used to seem when she tried to understand what I'm ordering my first few visits, but she's so warm and friendly now. I guess she's just introverted like me. Hope she can stick around for a long time. I really enjoy bringing my friends here.

Customer service is a failed! We walked in and inquired menus the lady acted like we was disturbing her. We sat to review the menu and when she came to clean the table next to us I tried to get her attention by day excuse me. She walked back in the kitchen like she didn't hear me. She exited the kitchen 3-4 more times went to the only other couple in there who told her they weren't ready and instead of checking with us she went back into the kitchen. We kindly waited again she exited the kitchen went to the back and returned to the kitchen. We got up and left. As we got in the car she went to the table we were sitting at and collected the menus. I'm strong against giving bad reviews but my thoughts for this place is solely based on the lack of customer services.

I've been wanting to try this place based on reviews and neighbors raving about it. I love dim sum and to be honest, was nervous about trying a dim sum restaurant in Auburn. The name threw me off a bit too. I later learned that Aberdeen is a city in Hong Kong. I finally tried it with my mom and son during lunchtime. My mom is your stereotypical Asian mom who is super critical with food. We ordered 71. shiu mai (pork and shrimp dumpling), 79. chicken feet, 39. vegetable chow mein, and bbq pork baos. Like other reviews mentioned, the food took a while to come out. That's because she (aside from working alone), cooks it upon order and it tastes fresh. The place is slow - we were the only ones there - and I was more nervous about food being frozen or leftovers from night before vs. how long it took to come out. So the wait time didn't bother me. Food was great!! We enjoyed all dishes but what stood out the most was the shiu mai which mom says is the best when comparing it to other WA and Hawaii dim sum spots. There's a good ratio of pork and shrimp, plus it's super juicy!Ambiance is in dire need of some background noise. It is super quiet in there. Place is clean and tidy. A high chair was available for my toddler. Whom she was very sweet too and even brought out a snack for. When I'm in need of a dim sum fix, I'm definitely coming back here. Screw driving all the way into the city when this gem is right in my neighborhood!

Just finished a late lunch. When we arrived there was a table of three that was already eating. Place was decently clean. There was only ONE person working, she was doing the busing/ waiting/ and cooking. Sat down and ordered at 3:05pm and did not receive our last dish until basically 4pm. This lady is VERY generous with her salt, everything just tasted like it was bathed in salt and pepper. Every dish came out slow one by one since she was literally the only one working.
