Great selection of beer, and most important. Cozy. It's a nice cozy little place in what used to be a junky little shop. I love spending time here and the people are very friendly.

I've been in here several times now starting a couple of months ago. They have an excellent and constantly changing & fresh tap list. Their retail section of brews is one of the most diverse and impressive I have seen. The staff here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This has quickly become one my favorite places to stop in for a pinto or two. As well as my go-to spot to find limited release brews to take home. I look forward to my next visit.

Socking up for lockdown has created some new opportunities for some, including my trip up to A1 Hop Shop after hearing about their local brews on tap and plentiful bottle selection. They have plenty of your classic local brews to choose from, but you can also find some special kegs tapped to expand your pallet. Like all good beer houses in Washington, they really do know their beer, but if you come in asking for 'something like Blue Moon' you should check your inexperienced taste buds at the door and let them provide you some help finding something better. We have some of the best craft beer in the world in this area, and A1 can help you appreciate that reputation. Pre-pandemic, you could sit inside and enjoy some small kitchen fare at decent prices. This is definitely a neighborhood feel bar, and if I lived in the area I would definitely keep it in my routine list. Since upgrade to an e-bike, this location is a bit more accessible, but still worthy of an adventure if you're coming from the south side. If you're familiar with the local trails, the Interurban trail actually goes right by here, so you can technically get from Fife to here via trails, but I'm pretty sure you might consider hopping on transit somewhere along the way unless you are making an entire weekend out of it. With the lockdown conditions, they are able to provide some limited outside seating, and even in the cold it isn't so bad, especially if you come when there is decent sunlight. They do provide heaters, but on the winter afternoon of my visit, the sun was all that was needed. Great place to sample some flavors while you pick your options for home consumption. Cheers.

I always drive by coming home from work, actually both places, 104th and 144th...FINALLY, we stopped by. We love the place! Quiet nook, can sit outside and/or inside for social distancing. They even have a small beer/wine collection for those who ran out of stuff and can grab and go. :) Another plus is they do have food to order OR order your own food and can be delivered and eat there. Nice bonus!!! Although only 144th has the area to relax and enjoying a drink. 104th is to browse and pick up your favorite drink. ;) Stop by and enjoy a cold one! The staff are pretty COOL TOO!

This place is such a hidden gem. It's a great place to come for conversation and great beer. The food is standard pub fare, but the store really excels in every other area. You can't beat their selection.

Stopped in for a cold beer and tater tots. Oh yeah, and chicken tenders. Other than the beer this was a perfect toddler meal! We loved it. It was perfect. Highly recommend, awesome decor.

We stumbled across this place when dining at a restaurant in the area. I've driven by it often and thought of stopping but never made it in. I enjoy a good taphouse with a beer store included. This place is fairly close to my house so now that I have been it might become more of a regular stop off. The parking situation is not ideal, but there does appear to be easy to access neighborhood parking. This is located at the very north end of Greenwood and the south end of Shoreline. Many people seem to stop off here to get beer to go. The outdoor area looks appealing to those that may want to sit and watch cars go by. The indoor bar area is more spacious than I would have imagined. It seems they do a fair amount of events here and on the night we visited they had some pretty decent live music. They also have a food menu which I was not expecting, you can see the air fryers behind the bar, but looks like they do pizza, hot dogs, nachos, mozzarella sticks, etc. Even though they make their own food it looks like they are still cool with you bringing in outdoor food if you prefer. There are a variety of beers on tap, but you can also opt to open anything in the store for a corking fee. My partner was excited to be able to find and drink a beer he's been wanting for awhile.

Came for beers and lunch. Great selection. Limited menu but can also get food next door. We tried Nachos? Jalapeño poppers and tacos. We sat outside with our dog. Friendly service. Took home some craft beer. Enjoyed our visit.
