Taste of the Philippines never disappoints! If Ionganisa scotch eggs are ever a special of the day, absolutely order them! Love that the pancit had the cellophane noodles. Can never go wrong with crispy, stuffed lumpia that are air fried vs deep fried! Chef Kathy always makes everyone feel welcomed & appreciated. Definitely worth any wait - there's a reason the place is packed on the weekend!

So happy the new location is located 15 min from my work! I've been to the old location that was at the French Market downtown a couple times, but now that I moved out to the burbs, I'm glad I have easier access. Stopped in and ordered carry out for lunch, I got the longanisa egg and cheese sando on the ube pandesal and it tastes as good as it looks! Also ordered the lechon with rice, but I was so excited to eat it I forgot to take a picture. The lechon was perfectly cooked and had the crunchiest skin! I would've had the ube donuts and cookies (which I've had before and are amazing) but am currently trying to cut back on sweets lol.

Get the Mango Juice - so good. Cute little place. Kinda like a diner where you order at the front, find a seat, and they'll bring the food out to your table. My friend and I shared the pancit, which tasted good, a little on the salty side, and was mostly just noodles. I ordered the Silog with house longaniza. The longaniza was flavorful, and I loved it. My meal also came with a scoop of garlic rice and an egg over easy. Just a little more rice would have been nice. My friend had the silog with pork belly. I had a taste and it was nice & crispy. Overall, it is a good place to have some Filipino food in Jefferson Park.

Wonderful brunch! We were warmly greeted by Kathy, the owner and chef! We had Filipino breakfast with garlic rice, fried egg, and house made loganiza, and Lechon with garlic rice. Very fresh and tasty!! Lots of food, as we took half of it home. There are many more things we want to try next time. We were even greeted by little Miss Oliva and got lemonades from her stand! Nicely casual and VERY friendly!

At last, we have a fantastic Filipino restaurant right here in the neighborhood, offering an authentic dining experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a clean environment and friendly staff, including the owner, Kathy Vega, who personally welcomes guests. The menu boasts an array of enticing entrees for both brunch and dinner, making it a must-try for anyone who loves Filipino cuisine. With such delightful options, it's hard to pick a favorite--I enjoy them all! Whether you're stopping by for brunch or dinner, every dish is sure to delight. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed!

Had dinner here on a Friday night. The place wasn't too busy but the service was slow. We had ordered tap waters and didn't receive them until we asked again after we got our food and the cup smelled like a wet rag. Fried rice with pork did not have any taste. Their mango juice and lumpia were nice and tasteful. Chicken BBQ was a little sweet and you can taste the Calamansi, which was also good. Also had the pancit with chicken and the flavor was good but the noodles were a little sticky.

It's like a new friend entered the Northside. Shared all the Friday night dishes with my family last night. Family faves were pansit, beefsteak and chicken skewers. Came back this morning for cold brews and Ube cookies and donuts for the fam. Pandan cold brew is so good with the cookie. Will be back for the Lechon fried rice.
