Really homey place. Kind of small and a bit too intimate. I was trying to red a book and I felt a bit cramped. There was a couple having a date near me and it was kind of odd because we were kind of right on top of each other. But the coffee was really good. The service was really good and the staff was super friendly. Really enjoyed coming here. Big parking lot! #2 best coffee place in Phoenix. #8 in the United States!

This is my second or third time visiting and I am truly a fan!Located in a small, shopping plaza, this Ethiopian owned coffee shop is truly a gem. From the imported coffee beans to the home baked treats and eats, it's the perfect place for a quick bite or caffeine boost. What I love most is that you will almost always encounter one of their super sweet owners when you stop in. They are so kind and put so much love and care into everything they do. I can't wait to attend one of their coffee ceremonies one day!

Excellent coffee! It's like a smooth flavor and even the caffeinated coffee didn't affect me. I am very sensitive to caffeine. This demonstrates the quality coffee that is used here. I intend to return and try the other coffee flavors or teas.

Solid little coffee shop in the middle of town!I came in last year while running errands in need of an afternoon pick me up and more recently for a quick industry meeting in the morning. The outstanding Yelp reviews did it for me initially, and for my meeting it was relatively in-between the two of us. Not a lot of seating space inside/out but what they sell is golden. Beans, grounds and fresh sweets are available in addition to a standard coffee menu. My go to is an iced coffee that I compare against a national chain. AT's is the opposite of the green mermaid's - soft and smooth, not burnt tasting. You can tell they take pride in what they sell, with a smile. Very kind to offer recommendations if you're unsure what to order. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and needing a delicious drink and/or beans/grounds for home!

Amazing coffee and service! My wife has checked this place out and recommended it to me and it's been on my list for years but I never came until today when my car got a flat! Luckily it's located half a mile from Costco Tire and it was an awesome place to chill in the meantime.I got the iced ginger coffee and the Sambusa and they were delicious. Ginger coffee was really light and herbal similar to Asian coffee but it wasn't as fruity which I appreciated. Never had anything like that before. The lentil sambusa was delicious and a tad spicy like a well made samosa.Owners greeted me and I heard them roasting coffee in the back fresh! (Or so I think) A regular came by and ordered two pounds saying they had the freshest coffee in Arizona.On a side note Eritreans are some of the kindest people I've met and this cafe really exemplified that! They are proud of their product and the cafe vibes are perfect to pass the time away, study and appreciate the culture here.Def check them out!

Accidentally found this spot. Not a regular at this area. When we entered we were greeted by very sweet couple. Looked at the menu and asked few questions. I am a big coffee lover! Had coffee in a lot of places. But this coffee is definitely worth the drive!!!!! It is bold, smokey and strong. Tried sambusa with lentils and veggies. 10 out of 10. The vibe at this place is amazing! Highly recommend.

Hands down some of the best coffee I've had. I got a hot vanilla latte with oat milk and I about cried it was so smooth and silky. The shots tasted like heaven and immediately I grabbed a bag of beans to buy. I drove 45 min here to try it out and will be back. The owners were so sweet and happy as well, it felt like a small town coffee shop. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often, but I will be back. In the meantime, I'll be dreaming about this latte for days to come.

Humble and exquisite. Staff radiate light and kindness. The ginger tea was amazing; I tried a taste of it hot but wanted an iced drink so had that and it was lovely. Don't sleep on the sambusa! I should have got two. Spiced lentils in fried dough. So yummy and enjoyable. The inside of the shop is warm with plants and what looked like handmade goods. Highly recommend!

Iced Vanilla Latte is so yummy! Lemon loaf is amazing! People are so friendly! The environment is so peaceful and welcoming!
