Honestly cannot remember what we ate since I'm doing this review so long after, but the food was good. I'm pretty sure I had some type of Pad Thai and crab Rangoon and was happy with my choice. The location is easy to find and the restaurant is really pretty!

I've been twice in the last month. I've found a true gem. Everything (for real) is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service has been wonderful as well. It's a bit hidden but worth the find! Definitely in my top 2 Thai restaurants in Nashville!

What a gorgeous atmosphere for this Thai sushi restaurant. My friend remarked that their bar reminded them of New York or Chicago, not Nashville. Had the crab Rangoon, spring rolls, basil fried rice w shrimp and an ocean roll. My husband thought his roll could've had more flavor but the fish was fresh. I'm almost certain my basil fried rice was made with sweet basil and not the Thai basil but I can't be sure. The flavor was just a little different than expected. And the HAPPIEST DAY DAIQUIRI was awesome. No fake flavors, just rum and lime. I'd go back for the drinks and atmosphere alone.

BEST THAI FOOD IN NASHVILLENo exaggeration when I tell you as I'm writing this review I'm trying to catch my breath by how delicious my food was. A roi is a Thai/japanese restaurant located not too far from Vanderbilt and the Parthenon. Upon walking in you are welcomed by low lighting artificial plants and an open kitchen concept. There are open tables and booths for individuals to sit at. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and knowledgeable about the Thai food. I ordered the KHAO SOI GAI and a Thai tea. Thai tea was made well! Just the right amount of sweetness, condensed milk and the tea tasted authentic and not instant. The khao soi gai came in a large bowl that was filled to the brim. Their portion sizes here did not disappoint. The noodles were fresh and the curry was sweet sour and delicious. This was by far one of the best curry dishes I've had. Please come here and try It for yourself

First time here. We were nearby and this place came up in our search for Thai food. Had a sushi roll, the chicken pad Thai, Thai iced coffee & lychee martini. All of it was amazing! The food was so flavorful. It has been the best pad Thai that we have had in Tennessee. Our waiter was great & it is so beautiful inside. We are definitely coming back to try the rest of the food, drinks and next time dessert.

Visited around 5:30 on a Saturday evening and waited a bit (despite no line) before checking back in with the host/hostess who then seated us. The restaurant is modern and bold. Our party tried a mix of Thai and Japanese entrees and we enjoyed them.

Love this new spot in town. It's quite large inside, with a newly opened rooftop. The parking is pretty simple, with free street parking all around the block.I've been several times now. I love getting their squid or squid salad. Their lychee martini has been hit or miss, either really good or really bad the times I've ordered. But my favorite dish is the pad Thai. The noodles are super thin, and it has a sweet taste to it.The happy hour deals are killer. I'd love to come back for the rooftop soon!

I stumbled across A Roi by accident by looking for a Thai restaurant that I haven't visited before. Most of the Thai restaurants around here are your stereotypical "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants, which isn't necessarily bad per se but sometimes you want something a little more upscale. This place is so new, even the Google Maps showed it as a bunch of trees in the satellite view.Upon arrival, I was surprised how modern and hip the atmosphere was. There was nothing tacky about it and it was certainly a place you could take a date. There was plenty of seating consisting of open tables, booths, and even bar seating. The menu is abundant with appetizers, entrees, & sushi, so there's something for everyone. The food here is fantastic although it is pricey. Between 1 Signature Roll, an appetizer, and 2 entrees, the total came to about $65.For an appetizer, I ordered the fried dumpling. These were not bad, fried to a nice golden brown, the menu said it was a chicken and shrimp filling, but I couldn't tell. The Red Hulk Signature sushi roll was ordered as the second appetizer. A row of 8 pieces of sushi made of shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, cream cheese, avocado, jalapeno, and tobiko. This was a good roll, but I don't know if it was worth $25. This alone was almost 1/3rd of my bill. One of my favorite places in Nashville for sushi is Maru and no restaurant I've been to around here has sushi rolls that expensive except Virago. Chicken Red Curry had wonderful flavors with a bowl of rice. Thai curry is my favorite curry because of the sweetness of the coconut milk and this one was excellent.Pad Thai was excellent as well. One of the better ones I've had, and I consider Pad Thai to be like Chinese foods' General Tso's Chicken. It's a universal dish that's slightly different at each and every restaurant. Sweet and spicy with noodles that aren't too greasy. Ample chunks of chicken in it.Overall I do see myself coming back to this restaurant but not for the sushi and more so for the entrees.
