A Pizza House

Everett WA. Down the street from the Indigo. Little place at the end of the strip mall. Almost missed it. Came to the shop and ordered a house special no onion add olive, and a Cesar salad. Going to have a slice in the car and see what it's like right out of the oven. Then maybe a picture. Run by a nice friendly man on the night I was in. The food was very average. I ate a piece right when I got to my car and while it was hot, the flavors of pizza just didn't hit the tastebuds. The ingredients were from a food service store and of average quality. I like they use fresh veggies. Even the Cesar I had didn't have a single piece with any rust color. With croutons and mozzarella it was fine but the generic canned dressing didn't scream Cesar and kind of ruined the salad. All in all, average. I think I would have like a pie from Culaccino instead but I was too lazy to drive there.

If you're familiar with CanAm Pizza, A Pizza House is very similar. We love CanAm and when we found out that A Pizza House has similar pies, we decided to give it a try. A Pizza House is in a busy strip mall in downtown Everett. The guys who work here are friendly but reserved. I think some of this is because they must deal with a lot of crazy energy. For some reason, the parking lot and surrounding area are always full of people--local, neighborly, and transient alike. While we were waiting for our pizza we saw someone barrel into the parking lot, go into a store, and leave the same precarious way they left, talking to themselves the entire time. A Pizza House is seemingly always busy. Our order took a little longer because it seemed they were a bit short-staffed. We tried the Mushroom Tikka pizza and the Achari Chicken Tikka pizza. I chose a tiramisu for dessert. The pizza itself is not NY style, which is my favorite pizza of all time. This is definitely more along the lines of most popular mainstream chains. However, the taste and novel flavor combinations make up for the crust. The Achari was heavier on the spice than I anticipated. Way heavier. I liked the Mushroom Tikka much better. And the tiramisu was surprisingly delicious. You can order on their website, walk in, or call. I suggest ordering ahead of time and giving them plenty of time to make your order.

I gave this place a 5 star review 5 years ago or so and it was my favorite! I got pizza there regularly for several years. I moved away but recently stopped in for pizza when I was back in the area a couple weeks ago and was sad to see that the pizzas got significantly thinner and smaller than the last time I was there. The flavors were still good but I missed the thickness with the thick ooey gooey cheese and toppings. Seems overpriced now for you get. :( Wish I didn't have to write this because they used to be my absolute favorite in the PNW.)

My daughter and I, love this place. We come here just us and get a slice. It's really good and the owners are so nice.

The food was great, and dough was hand pressed. Parking a little dodgy, as a woman, I wouldn't go alone at night.

Not very good. Larges are more like mediums and it's expensive for what it is. Would recommend another pizza place.

Hands down the best pizza and sauce in Snohomish County! We ordered delivery once on a whim, now we have 3 more times in less than 2 weeks! It's THAT good!

Service was okay. I had not called in my order so I waited in store for my two pepperoni pizza slices. There was one customer in front of me. I was taken aback that my pizza was prepped with no gloves, then she answers the phone, and then goes back to making my pizza just like normal. No gloves no hand washing? Apart of me shrugged it off and I ate it thinking this is so fricking gross, but the germs were cooked? I was so hungry. Gah.

We've been going to A Pizza House since way back when we went to Everett HS down the road back in 2007. They're food was great then and it's still great now! We always used to get the Pesto Chicken Sub and it was absolutely delicious. Lately I've been obsessed with the Butter Chicken Pizza. It consists of just chicken, red onion, cheese but the best part is the butter chicken sauce. It's takes it to the next level and makes it a completely new pizza. I also recently tried the Seekh Kebab Roll and while I had no idea what I was actually ordering, I knew it would be good and it really was. What I'm assuming is spiced beef, sauce, and cheese wrapped in dough and baked. It was so good and like nothing I've ever had before. Great people, great food, definitely give it a try!

I love the pizza there, the service is great and friendly. I go there when ever I'm having pizza on this side of town, I can't say enough about how good I think it is. The bread sticks are good also along with the salads. Try the place and see if you love it like I do.
