The ultimate comfort food spot! This is a casual, laidback restaurant in I-district with authentic cuisine. I normally walk up for a table, but have had to wait a little bit if they were especially busy. I love the mala tang (they have different spice levels) and the congee especially, but the other dishes I have tried in the past were also delicious. Service is friendly too, and very low key. We got complimentary hot tea with our meal too!

If I need to have a HK cafe food fix, A+ Hong Kong Kitchen is my go to place. I always order the baked pork chop with fried rice which can last for 2 meals for me. The milk tea is okay (I definitely have better ones in Vancouver). My favourite noodle dish is the beef brisket egg noodle and I always finish my meal with a dessert. Both the mango sago soup and soft tofu are both great! The restaurant was renovated a couple years back so it is cleaner and more modern. The servers were there for so long that I cannot remember - so super fast ordering and service!

Excellent foods. Price is so reasonable. Service was good too - quick order, great tea service, and very respectful customer service. Hole-in-wall type of restaurant. For that, it's clean. Not noisy so you can chat with your friends. Note that street parking was not easy to find. So, if you go by car, make sure to have a time to search for one! If you look for authentic foods at resonance price and hang out with your friends, I highly recommend it!

Sometimes the best breakfast is HK breakfast! My friends and I stopped in for a quick breakfast on a rainy Friday morning. We ordered congee, beef brisket noodle soup, wonton soup and also rice rolls with the house special sauce. Lucky for us, when we arrived at 11am, they were not too busy yet. Shortly after ordering, the rush came. Although it was busy, our waitress was very attentive and had awesome customer service. Food was fantastic, a lot of the items and flavors just reminded me of HK. The only downside was the beef brisket noodles was a little salty, probably could have remedied it if I asked for less sauce. This is a solid HK breakfast place if you're looking to get a good meal for a good price!

Casual place for a homey meal! I got the minced beef with fresh egg rice stone pot and it was the perfect warm lunch. It's simple but tasty and I loved the crunchier bits of rice formed on the stone pot as well. Most of the flavor is from the soy sauce they give you which you add to your liking. I also split a pineapple bun which was delicious. The place is small and can get a bit warm with the kitchen blaring nearby. The staff are really nice and they were very attentive.

On our way to Birch Bay after getting off the plane in Seattle, Yelp led us to A+ Hong Kong Kitchen. It was truly a pleasant surprise to find such such authentic and delicious Hong Kong style comfort food in Seattle. In less than a week, I went there three times and was never disappointed (first time on the way to Birch Bay, second time on the way back to Seattle airport, third time when I found out my flight was delayed). The first two times were with a group of five but we didn't take pictures of the food. The third time was just with my husband. I was able to sample quite a few menu items: dried shrimp abalone rice stone pot, stir fried vegetable (菜心)with garlic, curry fish balls, beef brisket over rice roll in stone pot, satay beef over rice roll in stone pot, fish slice congee (rice porridge), black mushroom and chicken rice stone pot, baked pork chop over rice, pork hock in stone pot, beef chow fun, curry beef brisket over rice, red bean with milk smoothie, mango pomelo sago drink, and almond soup with egg white (it's a desert made with dried apricot kernels rather than almond 南杏北杏).Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Portion sizes were very generous. The prices for the deserts may seem high compared to the main dishes but they were very high quality. I was especially impressed by the almond soup with egg white (蛋白杏仁露). This restaurant is kind of a hole in the wall inconspicuous place with only 35 seats, but service was good and the place is kept clean.I am sure glad I found it and will definitely be back next time I am in the Seattle area.

Hands down the most authentic Hong Kong food in Seattle! Kind of a hole in the wall looking place with a cha chaan tang vibes. The restaurant is often full but there never seems to be too long of a wait. You can't go wrong with the food here. A solid hk style breakfast and lunch place with congee, clay pot rice, rice rolls, beef noodle soup, curry fishballs, etc. Prices are very reasonable and portions are good sized. Service is usually pretty fast. A 5/5 for Cantonese food in Seattle.

I had the Satay Beef Noodle Soup and genuinely lovedddd it! Super hot and tasted delicious! It was definitely the first time I've ever tasted something like this. The service was wonderful, with the waiter being very accommodating and friendly! Will definitely come back again. The space was a little small, but we didn't have to wait at all to be seated.
