This place is great. I love the standard peperoni slice with an order of garlic knots, or one of their subs. I don't really have a lot to say other than I don't mind going to the office knowing I get to eat here for lunch. It makes the commute worth it.I bought pizza for the office and one of my colleagues is from New York... She was a bit skeptical when I brought the box into the office... She took one bite, sat down, closed her eyes and said, "Thank God." (I wish this were an exaggeration...).

Brooklyn Pizzeria is located on the corner of 4th and C Street in downtown San Diego. They have a good selection of pizza by the slice at lunchtime and a cool brick oven to cook their pies in. Service was friendly and they seem to do a good bit of business at this location. They have a few tables inside for dining as well as some window bar type seating by each window. The pizza as definitely solid and had a good flavor. The only thing I didn't like so much was all the homeless people hanging around. It definitely takes away from the vibe of a good meal. All in all, thumbs up for food and service and thumbs down for atmosphere. Probably a better place to get take out from.

This business is in a tough area for parking. And that's my only complaint this pizza is top 10 in San Diego and it's not 10. I'm not a plain pie guy but I would get the plain pie all day from here, the buffalo chicken pizza not the greatest but you can't be good at everything the slices are crispy sauced well and cheese is on point. I want to try that garlic shrimp pizza when is that on the menu so I can pull up and purchase I'll be back for damn sure.

Came to pick up a surprise bag order for the first time and chose a Brooklyn Pizzeria. I got two slices of pizza and a chicken roll. The pizza slices come thing but large in size and when I got the order, everything was so warm! I am pretty impressed by their pizza and that chicken roll was super cheesy. The pizza I had came with jalapenos, pineapple, and pepperoni. I thoroughly enjoyed everything and the freshness of the food when I picked it up to go!

I'm on a quest to find the perfect "slice" in San Diego. This was good but not great. A little greasy and the crust was a less than perfect, however, the other toppings were very good. Sadly, this location can be difficult to get to, parking is impossible and walking into the restaurant may expose one to some "downtown SD" odors, something Brooklyn Pizzeria has NO control over.
